The Telegraph has just reported that both Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm will return for a second series of A Young Doctor's Notebook & Other Stories. The series is inspired by the semi-autobiographical writings of Mikhail Bulgakov, a Russian writer and playwright. Both actors will reprise their roles from the first series, with Hamm as a doctor during the Russian Revolution and Radcliffe as the doctor's younger self.
In the article, Radcliffe says:
"I had absolutely no hesitation in agreeing to do a second series of A Young Doctor's Notebook. I had an incredible time working with the multi talented Jon Hamm and of course am a huge fan of Mikhail Bulgakov's work and so was thrilled when I was told a second series had been commissioned."
Filming for the series begins this summer. You can check out our earlier post about the series - featuring the trailer for the first series - right here.
