I don't think I'm going to read these reviews.. I don't want the movie to be ruined!

Posted by Shawry Mar 5th 2007

I am glad someone gave a more detailed review.

Posted by crumple_horned_snorkack22 Mar 5th 2007

omg!! I'm so excited, but I don't think I can read anything. I spoiled myself too much for GoF. Second?

Posted by SiriuslyHP Mar 5th 2007

ahhh thank you!!!! i really wish that i had the self restraint to not look at this but i will :)

Posted by HpAlwaysN4ever Mar 5th 2007

I'm going to read it now. :) It should be better than the critic's review. Top 10 :)

Posted by meaggzz__7 Mar 5th 2007

awww man, i am really sad how draco isn't in it that much! i can't wait for the KISS omg it sounds interesting ;) lol! but now i am really sad that draco isn't in it that much! lol

Posted by TwLb17 Mar 5th 2007

I must admit...I am starting to get a little sad to hear they are straying from the books... =(

Posted by J_Dizzle Mar 5th 2007

wow they're leaving out some minor things that are like uhhh major

Posted by Deppified Mar 5th 2007

I can't read that either! I don't want to spoil the movie...

Posted by pippin Mar 5th 2007

aww, it does not sound like its sticking to the book, they don't even have the full prophecy

Posted by smellysocks Mar 5th 2007

What's this THE WHOLE thing? i'm i being daft?

Posted by hermohninny Mar 5th 2007

i can't believe they didnt get the prophecy right!! how can they change that!! I am excited to see the twins escape though...i'm so glad they kept that in!

Posted by ChatNoir Mar 5th 2007

zeenat al least sounds really excited about the film, and i'm going to take her word for it :) hey, tell us about detention with dolores! did harry write on paper or on his hand after all?

Posted by Crystal Mar 5th 2007

*hits head on the wall* Aaah! I read it! Stupid Crystal! Stupid! Man, I just spoiled myself, though I'm kind of disappointed at some parts they left out... Aw... I shouldn't have read that... Grr...

Posted by Savvy32500 Mar 5th 2007

holy crap!! this movie is going to be amazing. waiting for it sucks. its so hard!!! && its really hard to believe that after this movie, theres only two left... whats even HARDER to believe is that the seventh book is almost out. the very last one. its mind blowing. im happy about all of this, but at the same time, im incredibly sad.

Posted by hpwiz812 Mar 5th 2007

no, im not gonna read!!!.....that much....

Posted by rupertsfuturewife Mar 5th 2007

Okay, now I'm disappointed :(. All of the kids heard the Prophecy? Nonono. The Prophecy was changed? Definitely nonono. But oh well, some things have to be changed. :(.

Posted by smellysocks Mar 5th 2007

oh sorry yes i am! :)

Posted by Kitty09b Mar 5th 2007

Alright, this review was much better. But seriously the "BIG CHANGE" (will not mention because of spoilers) was so messed up! Why they would do that... *shakes head sadly*

Posted by thenishbish Mar 5th 2007

Eh, I read it. Shouldn't have. Oh, Tom. Gosh. If he's not significant in Movie 6, I'm going to go defenestrate myself. And...Ugh..Whatever, I'm still pretty excited. Just to see how it turned out.

Posted by col Mar 5th 2007

I am so happy to hear that the twins exit was not cut out. I wonder about the Christmas scene? Was the snake bite scene in it? Points to ponder.

Posted by TruePotterFan Mar 5th 2007

overall some good and some bad..... really excited about Luna and the Ministry but the whole Cho thing? and what about Weasley Is Our King??? No Ron? No Ginny? Barely any Draco?? This review gives me doubts now......

Posted by EloquentPhoenix Mar 5th 2007

Oh I already hate it now, as if I had the vain hope I wouldn't. They've cut out important parts for cinematic effect!!! Kill me now.

Posted by Sariza Mar 5th 2007

I read the review and spoiled the thing for myself, but I have noo shame! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Zeenat, you are the greatest. This is exactly what I wanted in a review; it tells what they did right and what they did wrong and this review has got me TOTALLY PSYCHED FOR THE MOVIE!!! Again, thank you Zeenat, and I hope to hear more reviews soon! Or better yet, be one of the people giving a review!!! ☻

Posted by flipgirl Mar 5th 2007

That's great! I wish I could have gone to a screening!! And they did take out WAY to much for me. I don't think I can bare it. No Quidditch? No characters that I really enjoy? This is sad, I wish they would include everything whether it was be 24 hours long or not!

Posted by TwilightxShadow Mar 5th 2007

I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed! I can't believe they changed major parts like the prophecy! It's really annoying that they can't stick to the book especially for the major, important parts. I wouldn't care if they changed minor details but really......*sigh* Well, I guess they had to edit some parts out but still....it's disappointing. But either way I'm still excited for this movie though a bit annoyed.

Posted by ginny_girl11 Mar 5th 2007

You know I was extremely excited before I read this, but now I'm very disappointed in Warner Bros. Some significant things appear to be left out and I'm quite sad actually. I hate it when Warner Bros. strays so far from the books. They completely changed Goblet's plot line simply because they didn't want to have to include Winky. They say they edit all of this for time, but I know that we would all be willing tosit through a 3 and half hour movie and enjoy it even more if it stayed closer to the book. I am right?

Posted by Mira Mar 5th 2007

Oh... my... God. They're totally ruining it! They're leaving out such important parts! I just... urrrgh... I'm not gonna say anything, otherwise I'll get really mad...

Posted by IwannameetJK Mar 5th 2007

I expected some things needed to be left out, and a movie can NEVER, EVER, be as good as the book, but for the most part I will still be in line at midnight to see it ;0) Billions of times more excited to read book 7, so exciting, I just got chills!!!

Posted by PotterChickFoSho Mar 5th 2007

i think theyre doing really great!!!!! it counds like this one is way truer to the book then GOF. (GoF was just....unacceptable!) im really suprised theyre including grawp acully. they totally could have found a way to cover that up.

Posted by crayzhpfan Mar 5th 2007

WELL IM CALMING DOWN NOW! from the last review grrr to that person lol but this one was good im kinda sad of parts that were left out if they made this book into two movies id be happy cuz evvvvvvvverything would be in it n ill be veryyyyyyyyyyyyy happy! lol

Posted by AnyaMarcos Mar 5th 2007

Buh...guh...no SNAPE mentioned at all?

Posted by mithrilarrow Mar 5th 2007

The biggest dissapointment is that the mood sounds completely off from the book. I do not expect them to follow the book exactly, and no one should do so. I wish the movie was darker/moodier than this is sounding.. that's what made the Prisoner of Azkaban the best movie (IMO).. it was the way it FELT like Harry Potter, not just because they included every single scene and plot line. I am strangely sad about the absence of Lupin on the rescue mission too.

Posted by pygmypuff811 Mar 5th 2007

oy thats the bad thing about wb...obviously they have to leave stuff out of the movie, but sometimes it seems like they extract major plot points...like in ss with the potions as snape's defense, no sphinx in the maze in gof...of course i'm excited beyond belief, but i'm scared that too much is going to be left out.

Posted by dobbyrocksmysocks31 Mar 5th 2007

OMGAWD cant wait! shame they missed some stuff out - but im sure it will be its usual fabness anyway! xxbut i do agree with mithrilarrow that the mood sounds silly!

Posted by RebelTXFilmkr Mar 5th 2007

Oh, the joys of being a film major and reading peoples' reactions concerning adaptations. LOL But really, no film is ever as good as the book is. Ever. But I really wish people would separate the two when delving out opinions. Book and cinema are two VERY different mediums. What is written in a book, doesn't (rarely) translate well to film, it's only visual and doesn't hold the same meaning. But enough of that. I'm still really excited for the release of the film. HUZZAH!

Posted by quazar Mar 5th 2007

But how was Dumbledore vs Voldemort???!?!?!?!?!! Faithfully reproduced it could kick serious tushy. I'm disappointed none of the kids are hurt, it trivializes the battle scene. And they should have mentioned her boyfriends in passing at least. Good grief. We'll give it the benefit of the doubt I suppose.

Posted by Snaperific Mar 5th 2007

well done, thank you!

Posted by siriusxl3denial Mar 5th 2007

yeah i'm not gonna read the reviews...because i dont want to ruin the movie...hope they're good though !! =]

Posted by RyAn2006 Mar 5th 2007

Ok. That review totally stumped me. Im actually disapointed. Ohh dear. The bit that worrys me most. "All the kids heard the prophecy before it crashed (and it crashed out of Lucius's hand). It also didn't have the whole born in July, thrice defied thing. It had some really funny parts. It was a lot less serious than the book was." WHAT?! The kids all hear the prophecy?! NOOO WAY! AND THE PROPHECY LEAVES OUT THE BORN IN JULY,THRICE DEFIED THING?! WHAT!!!! This isnt good. Its far from actually. I really hope something drastic occurs in the next few months that changes this movie. Less serious than the book. Never a good thing to hear.

Posted by IAteUmbridge Mar 5th 2007

I'M SO EXCITED! YES! Ok, some changes. That's how it goes. They changed a TON OF STUFF, practically the entire plot of GOF, and it was still by far the best one in my opinion. This one sounds amazing. I'm so excited!

Posted by Prefiera_de_Gryfalco Mar 5th 2007

Agreed with AnyaMarcos...anything else on Snape? I read TLC's review, but eek, I think I am going to be disappointed. Ah well, all hail Deathly Hallows!

Posted by july21tillhp7 Mar 5th 2007

omg!! i want to read the artile soo bad but im not.. im forcing myself not to read ANY big spoilers!! =( o weel heck im not even reading other people posts cause they saying wat was in the article... o well ill guess ill just have to wait for the movie.......

Posted by SiriuslyHP Mar 5th 2007

no mention of "snape's worst memory?" i was looking forward to that the most.... but i heard on leaky ****SPOILER***** that it isn't even a pensieve scene (harry accidentally reverses the legilimens) and that in the scene all the marauders are there but the main focus is on snape and james. supposedly, lily does not stick up for snape (no mudblood comment) and the whole scene is "much easier to bear": only snape hanging from a tree (no underpants). i'm severely dissappointed...

Posted by Madmoggie Mar 5th 2007

o well they can't get it exact, at least it gives us a different look on things and maybe open our eyes to something we may have missed before...!

Posted by LindaW Mar 5th 2007

I think they're changing like crazy, too, but guys- wouldn't you rather have movies that make you appreciate the books more AND actually let you attend without knowing every line word for word better than having dull word for word from the book blah blah blah.... movies(not that they'd be dull, but still...) or no movies at all? I'd rather have new exciting ones. It sounds awesome, I can't wait.....

Posted by PigWithHair Mar 5th 2007

I'm very disappointed in what I've read about the film, most especially about Harry's first kiss. It's been turned into a big snog for cinematic effect when in the book it was wet because she was crying! Certainly no great first kiss. And I can't believe they don't have Lupin as part of the Advance Guard. It seems Tonks should have been cut before Lupin. And Ron and Hermione being held by Death Eaters and being relegated to minor characters? No brain attack? And the prophecy CHANGED??? It's looking like I'll just skip the film and pull out the book again in July. At least I'll have the final book coming out.

Posted by Danica Mar 5th 2007

Spoiler Questions/Comments to Follow... I'm wondering since they probably cut Remus out all together if this means they're going to cut the whole Remus/Tonks thing from HBP... Also... Cho ratting on the Order? Big mistake. Also all the kids knowing the prophecy is making me really angry it's really wrong. I see with each book the director strays further and further away to the deeper meaning and they don't stay true to the books. It really fustrates me, I think the wording of the prophecy is incrediably important, yet again changed. See it angers me because some of this stuff does not need to be changed... it just is changed for the sake of it. I'm just waiting for the next director to do HBP when the last book comes out and realized they made a huge mistake in the previous movies and end up at a dead end of how to correct it very subtly.

Posted by tennis_4_life Mar 5th 2007

UGHH!! I shouldn't have read it, cause now i am disappointed that they left out the swamp with Fred and George!! I love them!! All well, i am sad that they changed it to be Cho who tells instead of her friend, and lastly i don't like that they made it to where everyone heard the prophacy and that you don't get to meet Neville's parents. P.S. WHY!!! I love how Draco is in all the movies so snobbish but cute in the same way! Aww man!!! Nothing to complain about it sounds liek it's going to be interesting to watch anyways

Posted by BLOODYHELL Mar 5th 2007

I'm Happy with your review... Good job... Not happy about the changes. I can understand that they can't fit it all in, but changing details like Cho being the snitch... what is the point in changing a detail like that??? Oh well, I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
