Warwick Davis on OOTP and DH The actor who plays Professor Flitwick in Harry Potter spoke in a brief new interview about his character, the OOTP movie, and Deathly Hallows.

"I was into J.K. Rowling's books about Harry Potter long before I was offered the part of Professor Flitwick and I've loved reading every one since then. So, yes, I'm is really looking forward... like you... to the next book."

Posted by ninja58 Mar 8th 2007

Cool. I hope the next directors change him back to the white haired guy. He looked more flitwicky. Anyways i remeber he was on MuggleCast once.

Posted by Tajjy Mar 8th 2007

This is very exciting- someone who actually READ the books FIRST- more than you can say for even directors of some movies... Anyways- yes I like him very much now!

Posted by skates Mar 8th 2007

I think it's so cool that the actors that portray the characters in the books are fans just like ourselves/ It's very cool lol. HP rules the world!

Posted by RyAn2006 Mar 8th 2007

JO has said: "I must admit, I was taken aback when I saw the film Flitwick, who looks very much like a goblin/elf (I’ve never actually asked the filmmakers precisely what he is), because the Flitwick in my imagination simply looks like a very small old man.". This to me means Jo isnt happy with either of the film flitwicks-old and young! The main problem being the film people made him a goblin/elf instead of a small old man...weird....

Posted by ChoChang Mar 8th 2007

Oh goodness. The end... *CRIES*

Posted by Gryffindorprefect Mar 8th 2007

Oh wow! he looks really different without all the make up.

Posted by pigwidgeon Mar 8th 2007

He is so cool!!! and flitwick had better survive book 7 coz he rocks.

Posted by Regulus_Black Mar 8th 2007

i think he makes a nice flitwick. What's with the scary short black hair in film 4 though?!?! i hope they change it back in the next film. he doesn't look right without the beard etc. I like Warwick Davis though, he's a nice actor.

Posted by Ithilwen Mar 8th 2007

They're keeping him like he was in GOF. Dunno why, he looks...freaky. Still, he's cool cuz he's Flitwick :-P

Posted by smellysocks Mar 8th 2007

oh he's such a nice guy! and i didnt know he was a fan from the beginning thats cool!

Posted by felixfelicis1234 Mar 8th 2007

Posted by severus69 Mar 8th 2007

Yeah, Warwick is the man. When you have been in Starwars and Harry Potter you've done it all. Davis I satute you.

Posted by Dragon_queen4ever Mar 8th 2007

he was in star wars?

Posted by Dekey Mar 8th 2007

I too am a Warwick Davis fan. Yes, Dragon_q..., he was the young Ewok in Return of the Jedi that found Princess Leia. My favorite Warwick Davis Movie is one that was made before a lot of you kids were born. It is called Willow. A Ron Howard movie. Warwick plays Willow. You'll love it.

Posted by snapeward777 Mar 8th 2007

yay hes awesome

Posted by DobbysGirl Mar 8th 2007

This is cool. I hope he looks like he did in 1 and 2

Posted by DecemberDrops Mar 8th 2007

That quote is a keeper. I'm so happy that he's read the books.

Posted by districtsleeps_alone Mar 8th 2007

What a nice guy. Most of the adults hadn't read the books, so I think it is really cool that he has. Did anyone see him on Extras? It was hilarious.

Posted by silverphoenix21 Mar 8th 2007

Cool, I missed seeing him in GoF. Or at least, I think that the other short guy with black hair was not supposed to be Flitwick, because he sure doesn't look like him.

Posted by TheMuggleFromAnywhere Mar 8th 2007

i cant wait for the last book to come out!!!!! sweet.

Posted by trueligth Mar 8th 2007

I can wait for the movie and the book to see all the things that this professor is going to do.

Posted by browncoat Mar 8th 2007

I remember him in Extras with Daniel Radcliffe and that episode had me in fits of laughter. I can't remember the exact citation but I LOVED this part: "Why do you think I have this ring?" "I dunno, you're a hobbit?" LOL.

Posted by Grey Mar 9th 2007

Warwick! yeay! I remember that interview with him on PotterCast ("that other podcast"--as they now refer to it on MuggleCast) that was fun. They should try to get him to come on again:)

Posted by july21tillhp7 Mar 9th 2007

warwick is so awesome.... one of my favorite actors =)

Posted by Dragon_queen4ever Mar 9th 2007

ahhh, thanks for clearign that up Dekey.

Posted by Witchy_Woman Mar 9th 2007

That's so great. The actors are hardly ever interested in the story, especially the adults.

Posted by sticky Mar 9th 2007

its a tad short...but hey cool....we dont really see a lot of interviews from less minor characters like flitwick......im glad hes interested in the books as well.....

Posted by Weasley_Queen Mar 9th 2007

Has anyone seen Warkwick Davis in "Willow"? It's one of my favorite movies! If you haven't seen it, you really should. It's by George Lucas.

Posted by memememe Mar 13th 2007

I agree w/ Quiscalus i like the first flitwick better. it's cool to know that one of the actors are as interested in the boks like us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

Posted by july21tillhp7 Mar 13th 2007
