Emma Watson was awarded with the coveted Woman of the Year Award at GQ's Men of the Year awards this past Tuesday.
Hosted at London's Royal Opera House, the awards seek to reward excellance in music, sports and film over the past year and Emma has certainly proved the latter, after that has followed the Harry Potter series including Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Bling Ring, and This is the End.
Her acceptance speech, as featured above, is preceded by Avengers actor Tom Hiddleston. He stated that Emma "has truly emerged as a bright and shining star in her own right" and "This woman, certainly from a very young age, had greatness thrust upon her. She may indeed have been born great, but this year she has definitively acheived greatness."
Dressed in a Balenciaga crop top and high waisted trousers, Emma accepted her award, saying that "given the journey from child-star to adult performer, anything, any award with the word woman in the title is, uh, frankly a bit of a relief, and I'm very, very grateful."
GQ have also since revealed the exclusive front covers featuring the night's winners, of which, Emma's can be viewed here.
