Potter trio signed on for final two films
Warner Brothers announced in a press release today that Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint are all officially signed on for the Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows films. Each of the three actors, along with Producer David Heyman, were quoted in the release.From Dan:
"Playing the role of Harry Potter has been an immense privilege, and I look forward to completing the series. I feel a huge sense of loyalty to the character of Harry and the fans who have supported these films over the years. During filming, I have learnt so much, made lots of friends and met people who have changed my life. I am indebted to J K Rowling, Warner Bros. and David Heyman for giving me this fantastic opportunity."From Emma:
"I could never let Hermione go - she is my hero! I love her too much and love what playing her has meant to me. I am excited and honoured to be finishing what I started and playing her in all seven of the films."From Rupert:
"Ron Weasley has become a big part of my life and not just because we've both got ginger hair! I've been so proud to play him and loved every second of being part of this world. I'm really looking forward to filming the last two films and being back with my 'Weasley family' and, of course, to seeing my good friends Emma and Dan. Thank you to everyone for being so supportive over the years; we couldn't have done it without you."

I was really starting to get worried. This is great news.
I know a lot of people think the rumors were Emma's way of getting attention, but I'm much more inclined to believe it was merely the tabloids blowing things out of proportion. All the legit interviews (i.e. not tabloids) never said anything about her hating what she does. It only said she was hesitant. And since so far Emma has proven to not be much of a media hound (I would use another word but I know children get on here), I doubt she only did it to be paid more or to get more publicity. Just my two cents. :-)
Way, way awesome. I love that they love it so much...makes the films so wonderful...I knew nobody'd skip out on it. ^___^

Man... I kind of wanted Emma to go... I don't really like her... it's nothing personal, she's just not the best actor I've ever seen.

ive never really felt the urge to post a comment after there's been about 100 of them because i figure nobody will take the time to read this (heh) BUT, does anyone else notice emma's eyebrows? this adds on to what several people have been saying about her overacting. i think she's a wonderful actress, i just find it funny how if you watch her in some of the more serious scenes her eyebrows tend to move up and down furiously... =]

Daniel: YES!!! Rupert: THANK GOODNESS!!! Emma:...NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! !!!!!!!!!!! Well, at least we have an entire cast to balance it out. But I'm so glad the boys are back. The two of them are perfect at their characters! Dan is very very good as Harry and Rupert...Rupe is exactly as I imagined Ron in the books. I am also EXTREMLELY arachniphobic so I empathize with both the character and the actor immensly. And Dan, youre getting sooo much better. And Emma...Well, 2 out of 3 isnt bad.
Yes!!!!!!! Now they all are together! Pray Dan doesn't get a death scene in DH!!!!

I wasnt really on tethered hooks about emma but it wouldnt have been the same if others played their characters. So WOO HOO so glad they are all comming back now what about the rest of the cast? cause their characters wouldnt be the same either.

Oh, good. It would have been dreadful trying to watch the movies with anyone else playing their characters.
