Potter trio signed on for final two films
Warner Brothers announced in a press release today that Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint are all officially signed on for the Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows films. Each of the three actors, along with Producer David Heyman, were quoted in the release.From Dan:
"Playing the role of Harry Potter has been an immense privilege, and I look forward to completing the series. I feel a huge sense of loyalty to the character of Harry and the fans who have supported these films over the years. During filming, I have learnt so much, made lots of friends and met people who have changed my life. I am indebted to J K Rowling, Warner Bros. and David Heyman for giving me this fantastic opportunity."From Emma:
"I could never let Hermione go - she is my hero! I love her too much and love what playing her has meant to me. I am excited and honoured to be finishing what I started and playing her in all seven of the films."From Rupert:
"Ron Weasley has become a big part of my life and not just because we've both got ginger hair! I've been so proud to play him and loved every second of being part of this world. I'm really looking forward to filming the last two films and being back with my 'Weasley family' and, of course, to seeing my good friends Emma and Dan. Thank you to everyone for being so supportive over the years; we couldn't have done it without you."

Watch the scene where Hermione is talking to Harry on the bridge in GOF and keep the eyebrow comment in mind while Hermione talks. Emma's eyebrows move up and down about five times for every word she says. She moves them so much that it loses the effect she is trying to make. Thus, she overacts. It is very, very distracting and annoying.
Awsom!!! Harry Potters movies need fron than rup and emma... They have done a great work!! Continue like that! especilly in this last two movies

I'm so pleased!!!! Rupert is brilliant - it wouldn't be the same without him. Dan's improving with every film too! So glad he's coming back. I'm not at all a fan of Emma Watson due to some - er - "things" that she's said in various interviews, but I guess I'm glad she's coming back - it'd be wierd if they changed it. Fantastic that we'll have the original trio all the way through! Also, soooooooooooo cute what DAn and Rupert said about thanking people! aaaw. Thanks for sticking with it, guys!
Yay! Honestly, I think even if people think Emma, Dan and Rupert aren't right for the part, to change them now would completely estrange the movies to the huge fan base they have. Anyways, yay for Emma, Dan, and Rupert. Best of luck to them on the last films and I'll be sad to see you go!
