Oh yes, and has anyone noticed that in the UK cover, Ron is holding a sword [[which I would believe to be Godric Gryffindor's]]? And how both the US and UK-children's covers are Primarily warm tones [[red, gold, orange, yellow etc]]? And Harry's nearly-invisible [[possibly non-exsistant]] scar and the pouch [[well, I think it's a pouch]] around his neck on the US versions are highly unusual... And what on EARTH are Ron and Hermione wearing in the UK cover? haha It's just strange seeing them outside of their Hogwart's Clothes... so I guess we can agree that they do not return to Hogwarts? And if they don't, why is there a castle on the back of the UK cover? Could there be a castle besides Hogwarts to which Harry, Ron and Hermione would venture off to? OH SO MANY PUZZLING QUESTIONS!

if you look at the full US cover (the one without the writing) you can see a cloud just above harry's raised hand, but look closer it looks like something whooshing away or dissappereing from harry's hand. it does not look like the other clouds, it has definatley got a whosshy shape to it

It looks like the trio will be paying a visit to Gringott's. I have a feeling that Mundungus, fearing that Harry is on to him for stealing his stuff, puts all the loot into a vault. Harry remembers about the locket at Sirius's house, goes to look for it, doesn't find it there and either gets Mundungus to tell him where it is or guesses where it is and goes for it. It could also be Voldemort's vault (perhaps under a false name?). In the first book we assume that Gringott's was broken into because of the Philosopher's stone. But what if someone was putting something (a horcrux, perhaps) inside one of the vaults - someone who wanted to remain anonamous or putting something into a vault which is guarded? I love all three covers, apart from the adult cover, either one of the other two poses a hundred questions - will give us something HP to do until the book comes out at least.

So am I, I will be in tears probably while reading it and at the end, no matter what the outcome of the book. Yeah we will have the movies, but we will never be able to discover the feeling of opening a Harry Potter book for the first time and feeling that swoosh of excitement... :(

i think it might be kreacher.....hes the evil one that practically let Sirius be killed in the 5th book because remember Sirius tells kreacher to just leave and get out over xmas break and then he follows voldy and then comes back and then when harrys in the fire asking for Sirius and kreacher says that he was gone when really when he was upstrais tending to buckbeak...... so it is possible that kreacher is still in voldys foot steps and stole and took or something the sword from harry or tricked him....

Has anyone noticed that in the US edition, Harry has the locket around his neck?? Or that in the UK edition, although Ron and Hermione have dress robes or something on, Harry's black shirt is torn, and his left arm looks scraped or cut??? And that there's someone (Dobby? Kreacher?) hiding behind Harry holding up the sword??? Honestly, now that we have this last piece (with the exception of the actual SEVENTH BOOK), I feel really sad, an an overwhelmingly joyful way!!! Oh, this mediocre day has quickly become so AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only 114, 6 hours, 6 minutes and 15 seconds!!!!

wow. i have a LOT to. Firstly, to Dominogameboy, ron doesn't have a sword--it looks like a house elf thingy--Kreacher? Dobby?--is fighting them and pulling them back. it's high time Ron and Hermione ended up on the front cover, if only the u.k. version. i, not living in the u.k, don't get a u.k. version till much later after i have suffiently read my u.s. to pieces, but still...i like them all. There were dementors! oooh! and if Voldie and Harry are together, how come neither have their WANDS????? isn't that slightly essential??? oh. my. gosh. and all that tresure...how many fanfics have i read that end up with Ron, Hermione, and Harry going through treasure to find a horcrux? and, what do u think, sunrise, sunset, or Harry and voldie causing the odd colors? The US child one looks like it takes place in the Atrium of the MOM. The UK child looks like it takes place in a Gringotts vault or something and the UK adult one looks like the Slytherin locket/horcrux...i'm sure this has alredy been said...but whatever

I would like to get a closer look at them, especially at the UK children's version, but I'm ecstatic about the UK adult- Slytherin's locket!!!!!!!! I always imagined it as being tarnished silver with a large, serpentine 'S', but I'm not too fussed about it. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the first time I feel that the US cover is inferior to the UK cover (for kids, the adults one always sucks imho). I guess it will hinge on the back of the us cover (where his wand may be)

Aww! I love how Slytherin's locket in the UK adult version is gold like in the books (even though I never understood why it wasn't silver)! =D These covers are amazing and are irritatingly VAGUE.
