doesn't anyone else see what I see... What is that little symbol on the spine of theUK version cover? Is it an ancient rune symbol? Maybe it has something to do with Hermione. or am I overreacting and its just thebloomsbury logo.

We are reading the wonderful theories and to see what we missed, but we do it after we post. In the us. cover Harry could be throwing something in the air to destroy and VM looks like he is reaching out and saying NO! Or he could be catching something.

OMG you guys, I was doing some research on the symbol on the spine of the UK version and Icame across this page where they talk about The Seventh Book of Moses andthey have this crest like or logo looking thing that has the letters RAB on it. This is what I think might happen: Voldemort and Harry enter the arena. Harry sees the faces of a lot of loved ones. Voldemort sees faces but he doesn't really know everyone and he doesn't really care about anyone. He just wants to beat Harry and have everyone see. Everyone begins to cheer for Harry and send him their love, which seems to fill the air. No one loves Voldemort. Even his death eaters. Cheering is one thing, but no one loves him. Harry reaches up for the love and he can use it to destroy Voldemort. But Voldemort realizes what Harry is about to do, and he tries to stop him. But he can't. So he wishes someone loved him, but no one does. He tries to reach for the love as well, but he can't use it. It is all for Harry and none of it is for him. So he dies in the end wishing someone loved him, and he see's how powerful love is, because everyone loves Harry and Harry can use that love to destroy Voldemort.

OMG i can't take it!!! as there has been no new MuggleCast talking about the covers, I went to The Leaky Cauldron and I am actually listening to PotterCast discuss the covers! I mean, this is big for me cuz I have always viewed them as MuggleCast's rivals (haha even though they're friends), but i have never listened to them until now! They've come up with some good points that I like, such as them saying how the little triangle thingy on the UK children's cover may be egyptain like or Hermione's Ancient Ruines class could come in handy. so yeah hopefully there will be a Mini MuggleCast or something!!! Please?? :)

Wow, i really didn't expect the cover to come out so soon...but i'm not complaining! I love it! The artwork is awesome and I really love the US one. But I was looking at the UK children and Adult ones too, which are also really good. All of them give insight into the book, especially the UK kids one...that one really made me think. OMG, I can't believe HP is gonna come to an end so soon...

This is the most exciting thing to happen so far, I think; the cover art is going to spark a million and one theories, and it's much more telling than just the title.

That interview came on right when I opened the door to leave for school... I watched and got pics of the cover on my phone. I was tardy for first period, but it was so worth it. :D One really great thing about having three different covers for the book is that we have even more clues for what the book is about!

969th!!!!! haha. I think that we can now safely say that the Deathly Hallows is a place, likely where Harry and Voldy are on the U.S. cover. I absolutely HATE the UK cover, it's way to colorful and jumbled, but I like that dobby is in it, with a sword no less (he's right behind harry). Also, alot of people are saying that they see people in the background of the U.S. version, but I think that they are graves, adding to my theory that the Deathly Hallows is a place (maybe beyond the veil? who knows). Anyway, 114 days!!!

First impressions: It looks like this is taking place at Sunrise (or sunset?). What is in the bag around Harry's neck? Who are those people watching? Is Harry in an arena?

The covers look amazing!!!!! I am glad to see that they are going back to visit Hogwarts. I dont know what is up with the treasuer, maybe the room where the tiara is at? It also looks to me that Harry and Voldy are fighting in the ministry, i dont know what is up with all of the people in the background. it could be the other people who are fighting, but it looks like they are just standing there. Sort of reminds me of the Colossium (sp?). I am soo excited now! I wasn't before because I was really sad that it was all going to end so soon, and even though I'm still a little sad I am very excited!

ok I SWEAR THIS IS MY LAST COMMENT! but im just thinking here...tell me if my theory is retarded... i think that Harry will finish off Voldemort (duh) and after Voldemort is gone, Harry's scar will disappear, because his scar is the reason that he was able to get the feelings that Voldemort had in Order of the Phoenix...so anyways once Voldemort's powers are totally gone, the scar could possibly disappear. idk just a thought. and on the UK cover, its obviously showing that Hermione and Ron could possibly be helping Harry find Horcruxes even though at the end of Half-Blood Prince he said he had to do it alone...im not sure if these theories are any good but its just something i was thinking about.

The UK children's version actually looks like a Mad magazine cartoon for Harry Potter. Needless to say, as interesting as it is, I'm not a fan. It looks like Harry is releasing something into the air in the US version. It took me aback at first (orange???) but I really like this cover. Harry has his best expression since Goblet of Fire. I just want to know whats going on here -- are they in an area of some sort with an audience? Are they in the death chamber? Why does it look like they're standing in the sun (I think its daybreak, but it might be sunset).

Did anyone notice that Harry is wearing a locket, there are people in the background, and there area curtains on both sides??? Does anyone else think, like I do, that they all might be on the other side of the Veil that Sirius fell through???? Ok, so Harry is wearing a locket (the horcrux-free slytherin locket??) and he also has no scar! I think his scar is a horcrux "Voldemort put some of himself in me?" -one of the books... on some page... haha. So I think that the veil is coming into play on the US version, with maybe ghosts or something in the background (i changed my mind, they're not graves). So that's the ring, harry's scar, the diary, the locket that are all gone at this point... so two more..... maybe the UK version is at gringotts or maybe at that one lady's house who collected all the junk (who owned Hufflepuff's cup) or something. Anyway, I think it's safe to assume that the US cover shows the final battle btwn harry and voldy, and the UK version is the trio plus dobby looking for a horcrux?

Oh my GOD!!! This is so tremendously exciting!!!!! I lurve the U.S. cover. In all of it's orange-ity. fandom, rejoice. heh. I'm torn-- I don't want it to be over, but I want to read it just as much if not more. it is kind of interesting and wunnerful how many theories the covers have sparked!

Is it just me or do Voldemort's hands remind anyone else of the dementors? I think the UK Adult's cover is the nicest (I thought the same thing about HBP, though), but I definitely like all three. I'm having some trouble containing myself. I work in a law firm and always thought I was the only HP dork working there. Last Monday (3/19), I walked into one of the attorney's offices at work and two of them were in there talking about the books. I couldn't help but say how excited I was, but they were too, so I didn't get any funny looks. We spent a few minutes discussing theory, and I think they gave me some credit above just being weird because I'm an English major. Then they mentioned that they really wanted to see the covers and know the length of the book. We all agreed that it had to be coming soon. The HP nerds in the office were ecstatic today!
