New dinosaur species named after Hogwarts
A new species of dinosaur has been discovered. The species is named 'Dracorex hogwartsia' after Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A replica of the dino skull is on exhibit at the Pennsylvania State Museum. On May 22, the Pennsylvania Satellite News Service will have a special live video feed to the Pennsylvania Historical Museum where paleontologist Robert Sullivan will describe the naming of the species.

HAHAHHAAA. i think that is hilarious. soooo weird. but cool.
whoa. that's awesome.
Haha, I wonder what it must be like to be JK Rowling. One day, you're just sitting in a coffee shop, writing down some ideas for a story you might do, the next, you are having dinosaur named after something in your world famous books. Pretty cool.
That's cool, but at first I thought it was some kind of joke.
seriously? why?? maybe the archeologist was a harry potter fan?
That is the coolest thing ever. now they should have a "jorowlingrexasourus"
Oh my. That's amazing. There should be a "Joasaurus" It does have a nice ring to it...
Wow!! Really? lol that's amazing!! At first, I couldn't figure out if it was a joke or not.... But seriously, that unbefrigginglievable!! That is so cool!!
Um. Siriusly?
Seems a bit silly, but I have to problem with it! I have a thing for dinosaurs.
hahaha! But, I think that it's so cool!
thats neat!
Whoa....Are they serious? Harry Potter is like taking over the world now...O_o
that's awesome!!!!!!!! i'm still not sure about dinosaurs being real to begin with, but that's okay. by the way, isn't draco latin for dragon?
Harry Potter's taking over the world...
Haha!!! That's hilarious and yet so awesome!!! What did I tell you all! I told you HP was going to take over the world!!!! Uh...just didn't think that we'd invade the past too....
wow that's really cool... the next thing we know they'll be naming planets and actual living species after it.
That's pretty bizarre...cool, but bizarre.
Oh man....at first, I was thinking that this was as real as my English class is educational. Then I read the article...............DUDE!!!!!! Huzzah for HP! triassics REPRESENT! ;)
I thought that was a joke at first! That is so cool though!
LOL that is so cool!!!
How cool!! I wish I knew what it looked like!
wow that's .. weird.
Haha, I can't help thinking this is a joke. Hmm...I wonder if Jo could sue...
that's kind of stupid...wow. At the same time, it's kinda cool...in a stupid kind of way lol
Hey, that's pretty cool =0)
I agree with Kathryn. That is...bizarre.
That is just...odd.
Are they kidding? It's not April Fool's day... I think that it would be nice if it was true. I love HP fanatics!!
Yay! A dinosaur!!! Dracorex hogwartsia, I will always remember that name! :) I would love to see how that dinosaur looked like when he lived. :D
Haha, that is really neat! Could Mugglenet post a picture of the skeleton... or framework of bones? That would be pretty cool. =D
Harry Potter, kickin' it nearly as old-school as you can get.
The image of "Draco Rex" in my head is just wrong. I see a giant sized Malfoy, five stories tall, with dino jaws and teeth stalking through London, spittal glinting from either side of his mouth. He rounds a building, steps into an open square filled with people who freeze only long enough for their mind to verify what the eyes are seeing...Draco Rex Lives. Then cars smash, Draco Rex roars and swipes at those scurrying at his feet. Screams rip from their throats, suddenly ceasing when their necks snap in two. Draco Rex notices Hermione dressed for the Yule Ball, the one he'd been searching for, desperate to find. He sweeps her up, lumbers off to the tallest building, nimbly scales the building, moving impossibly fast for something so large. He reaches the summit, sets Hermione away from the edge. They share a quiet moment as the Sun rises. Then, dots appear at the center of the glowing orange orb, grow larger, larger still. It's the Griffyndor Quidditch team flying in formation, wands at the ready, Ron in the lead. Jinxes fly. Draco Rex jumps, swats, beats his chest, screams his frustration. Hermione waves, signals, desperate for the world to join SODoFF (Society of the Dracorex Friends and Family)....I think we all know the ugly end to this one... Like I said...there's something incredibly wrong about the image of "Draco Rex" in my head :) LOL
it's so nice to hear that harry potter is affecting the world in such amazing ways! maybe in the future, kids will have to read harry potter, like say -romeo and juliet, and analyze it! but it's cool that a dinosaur got named after jk's world!
They cannot be serious o.0
awesum!!
that is amazing! XD
Cady is my hero. Brilliantly bizarre
Just when you think you've seen/heard it all...
Why would they name a dinosaur species after Hogwarts? Isn't that a little bit childish? It is na little bit strange if you ask me. This comment is posted by Timothy (TDeSou).
is this some kind of weird joke. i mean, i love harry potter to bits, but naming a dino after hogwarts...
