New dinosaur species named after Hogwarts
A new species of dinosaur has been discovered. The species is named 'Dracorex hogwartsia' after Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A replica of the dino skull is on exhibit at the Pennsylvania State Museum. On May 22, the Pennsylvania Satellite News Service will have a special live video feed to the Pennsylvania Historical Museum where paleontologist Robert Sullivan will describe the naming of the species.

Omg your kidding! HAHAHAHA that's really unexpected. Thats really weird though. I understand that billions of people love Harry Potter but to name a dinosaur after it. I think it's cool though how Draco (meaning dragon) fit perfectly for this species of dinosaur.
The Fundies must be foaming at the mouth. 2 things they hate: Harry Potter and dinosuars! Now all they need to do is discover that this species of dino was homosexual and it will be all over with....
YOU'RE JOKING!
EXTREMELY COOL!
WOW, we're talking OBSESSED here! I mean, are they SERIOUS? That is SO COOL. Unless, of course, it is a joke, meaning that- like, you know how that post about JKR reading from HP 7 was a hoax by some idiot? (I'm sorry if you are the idiot) Well, maybe it's a lie, it's not like they had a photo. Plus, what kind of a name is that?
I LOVE HARRY POTTER but isnt naming a dino after it kinda.. OD?
Oh, well, apparently it was found by three boys, and I saw a picture, so I guess they MUST be serious. HOW COOL IS THAT?! I mean, a DINOSAUR named after DRACO MALFOY! I am SOOOOOOOOOOO happy right now!
what the heck? it's gotta be a lie. i'm watching the news right now and if they actually found a REAL dinosaur i wud have seen that. IT`S A LIEEE
Imaine, one day, in the textbooks, "Dracorex Hogwartsia, a dragon named after..." It would be so funny! It shows the major impact Harry Potter has made, it will be in textbooks!
No, it's not a lie! Did you see, it was going to be in the news tonight on some weird channel. Plus, they found it two years ago. I guess they're jsut naming it now. Relaly cool, though!!
there is a pic now!...that is soooo cool
hellowx peeps ahahaha *laughs maniacally* i so knew it no, wait, did i? NO. ahwellx. just when you begin to think you know it all... haiyah.
omg that is so cool. like honestly i knew the books were godly but i mean naming a dinosaur after it. that sick!
If you want to see the "Dracorex" go to this link. http://www.childrensmuseum.org/dinosphere/draco_rex/index.html I got to see the dragon king about two months ago. My daughter got to job shaddow the paleontologist at the childrens museum for a day, and thats when we learned of it. We thought it was really cool. My first comment about it was "it looks like a Hungarian Horntail from HP series" The paleontologist then let me know the real name Dracorex hogwartsia. and that it would be announced on the 22 of may.
lol lol lol that is hilarious!
Well, I myself don't know to much about Dinosaurs, but my fiance is studying to become a paleotologist in college; so it was nice to have something on him for once. :) He hadn't even heard about it. We are both very ecstatic about this. I am interested, because I curious if this Dinosaur looks like a dragon or not and if it will prove that maybe Dragons did exist. Lastly, I would like to say thanks to all the people who told what they knew about Dinosaurs and what this could mean, because I didn't know about the process for naming Dinosaur findings and what the name means other than the name Draco means Dragon, thanks again.
