AP article on MuggleNet and HP fan sites
A new article by the AP examines the rise of Harry Potter fan sites and includes a bunch of quotes from MuggleNet webmaster Emerson Spartz. The piece states, "Spartz and his many fellow Webmasters are looking back at their own place on this record-breaking ride. The story of Potter has all along been a story of its fans, and, like everything else about Potter, the fan sites are in a special class, for their size, and for their influence."

Mugglenet, you deserve every single praise of it!!!! I've been checking out this sight since 2001 when a friend of mine heightened my obsession by introducing me to this wonderful site. Looking back, it makes me smile seeing how far MN has gone. From being a simple Harry Potter website to being an exclusive and the first interviewer after book 6 was released, two thumbs waaaaay up for this rockin' site! ~HP forever!~
THATS BALLIN MAN!!!!! you are so awesome i love you for starting this beautiful site!!!!
I did the entertainment page ... guess who's front and centre? ;-) Nice article! Abigail
Rock on, MuggleNet
That is so cool. If I were Emerson, I would be ciked!
and once again, they call us Notre Dame University instead of University of Notre Dame. sigh. oh well, congrats Mugglenet!! It's been a fun ride... :)
cool! =)
"But no matter what happens, these years will always be among the best in our lives.'' Couldn't have said it better.
That's so awesome guys, congrats! Glad the world is recognizing the awesomeness of HP sites! :]
I turned my computer on and on National news is a picture of EMERSON and Mugglenet. That is so great for all the hard work all of you have done for us over the years 4/15/07
As someone who has "moved on" with their lives (i.e. marraige, kids, career), I have to say there's still always time for a daily HP fix, whether a quick visit to Mugglenet, debating with the spouse over who's gonna die in book 7, or reading a chapter aloud to the kids at bedtime. You're never too old or busy to obsess a bit on these sites! Long live Mugglenet.
