HBP Audio Book enters APA Hall of Fame
At the National Press Club's Audie Awards in Washington DC last night, Half-Blood Prince was entered into the Audio Publishers Association's brand-new Hall of Fame. HBP is the very first book to have been awarded with this prestigious honor. The book was narrated by Jim Dale for Listening Library.

I much prefer Stephen Fry to Jim Dale, but to each his own.

That news doesn't surprise me at all!! I luv listening to the tape versions!! They're great for long trips in the car, especially since I get sick when I read in the car. It is sooo cool, quite different than reading the books. (Even though I still prefer reading the books by myself in the dark of night with a booklight and a little candlelight, that's the best) ^_^ Stephen Fry does a wicked awesome, bloody brilliant job! No one could ever replace him... it just wouldn't be the same. He is a very talented man.

I've only heard the Jim Dale Version... but I've heard wonderful things about the Stephen Fry version... I really enjoy Jim Dale's reading... but you're 100% right about the way he has Hermione say "Harry"... I used to shudder... now I just laugh. Har-reeee.
