FantaGrl, the three of them are about the same height, we have seen many pics of them. In that scene they are in the forest so the groud has different levels, there are some pics of that scene so you can see it. The thing is the actor who plays Ron is not as tall as Ron is supposed to be... now he is already too old to grow up more.

To everyone saying that the hug between Harry and Hermione is not right: It was in the book. Don't worry, they're trying to make them a couple. It's the scene where Harry gets to Grimmauld Place for the first time. in the book Ron says something like "Let him breathe Hermione." And the Voldy at Kings Cross is probably Harry just seeing things.

I think the film marketers just really like to throw Harry and Hermione together, for some reason. She DOES give a ferocious hug, doesn't she? Like she's launching herself at the other person. I myself can't wait until there's finally some Harry/Ginny.

Yes, kaze_. In the POA trailer they have Hermione hugging Ron at the execution of Buckbeak and the part where she grabs Ron's hand. I don't understand why people keep saying that the directors are making too much Harry/Hermione-ness in the films. I don't really see it...

I am now ashamed to say that I ever doubted Michael Goldenburg (the OotP screenwriter) because he seems (from everything we've seen so far) to have done an even better job than Steve Kloves! I love them both, though! But then that might be because OotP is such a darn fabulous book! Bit of both, I think. Everything in this movie seems to be more along the lines of what I have immagined when reading the books than the previous 4... Umbridge, Luna Lovegood and Bellatrix Lestrange among them!

Really? I must've forgotten, then. Even so, to me, the movies seem more H/Hr. R/Hr moments often seem... forced. D: I think it's partly because the Hermione in the movies is almost completely different than in the books. Book!Hermione has crazy amounts of chemistry with Ron. (Though, it's Jo writing the books, so naturally there's more chemistry between them.) Dumledore's "you can't win, Harry" line, by the way... I'm not sure it's Voldemort he's talking about. Maybe he's talking about the Ministry's decision to replace Dumbledore?
