To those for whom the show has not yet aired... the clip was the last thing that was on the show. After the clip Ellen said something to the effect..."an now you have seen it, and only you have seen it." And then she went to credits for todays show.

She's almost too perfect as Umbridge.... It's creepy.

i feel like mine is a little better qaulity and some of the scene it cut...it's in widescreen and it's missing a lot of the stuff in the shot!

It's perfect! Just like in the book:) Actually, I'm in favour of what she says in her speech, just not that "she" and "the Ministry" should do these things. Progress for the sake of progress is not a good thing. But it's brilliant, the way Harry looks at her and how Hermione does notice that, despite the good speech, she actually says that the Ministry wants to be in control.

OMG I loved it! Sorry can't post a clip, but I just saw it on TV and loved it! I'm SO glad they kept "Progress for progress' sake..." I know she doesn't drone on and on, but would you really like to hear that? Harry tunes it out too. It's just perfect. If they keep the rest of the movie this faithful to the book, I'll be extremely happy :-)

You can see Trelawny when Umbridge did her "hem, hem" thing, and she was like, "wha-what? what was that?"

Imelda Staunton is too perfect for the role of Umbridge!!!!! This clip makes me want to stab her through my computer screen!!!! This scene is so well done. You can just feel the eeriness. And the 'hem hem' is exactly how Stephen Fry reads it to me. I in fact have been listening to the exact same chapter in my car on my drive to uni today, I love it. Umbridge's giggle at the end gives me the creeps. Literally sends shivers down my back. Nasty piece of work, she is... btw I have played the clip several times but can't seem to catch what Fred and George comment. Can anyone repeat it for me... Thnx !
