Movie 5 casting changes and announcements
Helen McCrory will no longer play the part of Bellatrix Lestrange in the fifth Harry Potter movie as she is currently pregnant and will be heavily so by the time they film the Ministry scenes. She is set to be replaced by Helena Bonham Carter. Helena played the part of Charlie's mother in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.Apple Brook, who's appeared in stage, TV and film productions for more than 25 years, will portray Care of Magical Creatures substitute teacher Professor Grubbly-Plank.
Finally, the younger versions of Sirius, Lupin, and Snape (who all appear in "Snape's Worst Memory") will be played by James Walters, James Utechin, and Alec Hopkins, respectively. Also, Jason Piper will "play" the part of Bane the Centaur. Whether or not he'll simply lend his voice for the role, we don't yet know.

MyKidThinxImNuts: *nods in agreement* Patrick Stewart would truly rock the box, but what role would he be suited to that hasn't already been filled? Unless he were to play one of the Gaunts. Nah, he doesn't look inbred enough!! The shopkeeper at Borgin and Bourkes perhaps... Although, that role would be far too small and would put him to waste. Damn, if only he had been cast earlier.

yues_woman : THANKS!! I've been pushing Stewart for Dubledore since Harris passed away. Wasn't aware that Gambon was signed on for all remaining HP films (UUGGG!!!) On this site he is not "confirmed" but on imdb he is, then Tom Felton isn't confirmed here yet either, so I've been looking in the wrong place...still think Stewart would be a better Dumbledore, true and lol on the Gaunt statement, he would just be lost. Gambon just p*'s me off being so wrong for the part and not willing to even read the books and know what his character is suppose to act like, directors fault or his...the blame lies somewhere!! *Trying to think of what major parts are left for characters we haven't been introduced to yet.*
I want to see a picture of the guy who will be playing young Sirius Black! :P I hope he is really good looking... like he's supposed to be in the books. But I'm actually really happy about the Bellatrix change. I think the new actress will do a fantasic job - and her face better matchs my image of Bellarix as well. Yay for movie 5!

I think Helena is a great choice for Bella, anyone who doubts she can do haggered and mean should remember what a state she was in "fight club", she can definately do mean.

OMG, I've been pushing for Helena since day 1! I'm so happy! I've always pictured Bellatrix as Marla Singer. Beautiful...but tragic, rude, and a huge mess. She's going to be awesome. Thank you, Helen McCrory, for getting pregnant!

oh, and another note, even though i think helena would make a good bella, i always imagined her looking like teri thatcher! you know, susan from desperate housewives and lois lane from superman? i think she'd make a good bella, but seeing as she's american i don't think she'd be allowed by jk really lol

I have just seen a picture of the boy to play Young Sirius, and I am not impressed at all. He is at best ok looking. Sirius is supposed to be Dam Hot, the hottest guy in school. I guess well just have to wait till he gets in young Sirius custom. But I wouldn’t be holding my breath. The music artist Ben Jelen would have made a prefect Young Sirius
Helena is brilliant actress, so I think she will be great in this role, however she doesn't look exactly like the Bellatrix I imagined.. But it's not so big deal, I think I'll survive ;)
I think eveyone need to stop believing all the pictures they see of "Young Sirius". The ones I keep seeing aren't even of a British guy, so that definitely rules him out. People need to be patient and wait until an official picture comes out. Until then...stop being so gullible. Geez.
