wowwowowowowowowowowowowo w #6!
Blasphemy! The longest book has the shortest running time? Something doesn't seem right...
Gah that's so short!! Grr they should have pulled an LotR and made an extended edition for the hard core fans...
that is WAY too short!!
omg why? thats way too short !
thats booty this movie should be way longer
isn't that shorter than the last one? which was like 258 minutes or something like that....it should be longer!!!!!! we need more Potter time!!! I would happy sit through a 4 hour Potter movie :)!!
noooooooooooooooooo...... .......it's the shortest of all..that's not good :(
its about 2hr 20min off the top of my head (and im not really good at maths haha) that seems a resonable time, for a movie. i would have liked it to be longer but what can you do? and i think the catagory should be "movie 5" not "book 5" haha :P
How dare they make it the shortest!!!!!! GAH!
That's less than two and a half hours!!! >:(
It's short but I'm sure it'll be an awesome movie still! It is what it is and I can't wait to see it!!!!! Last 20 minutes in 3D woot woot!!
meh... well, its more than 2 hours, but... still seems too short.......
THAT'S TOO SHORT! And that is with the credits! They're getting way too short! And since over half of the trailer is at the Minsitry of Magic, I woulda thought, that would take up at least an hour like the maze in GOF did ( well, almost)! I DEMAND A LONGER MOVIE!
grrrrr...... thats only 2hrs and 20 min. this is the longest book and the shortest movie, and the chamber of secrets was like the longest movie but the shortest book...Weird
2hrs 18mins... that's cool with me. I'm dreading listening to MuggleCast cos I know I'll have to listen to Eric and Andrew moaning about how "short" it is. But there's always the fast forward button! :)
i think 2 hours is long enough...
oh booo it could be a lil longer lol. but i will enjoy every minute of it!!!!!!!!!!
good! longer then i thought it woulda been =)
as long as the movie is fantastic, the time won't matter. on the other hand, if the movie is bad....
WHAT! THE LONGEST BOOK... SHORTEST TIME SO FAR somthings WRONG here!
Ugh..Too short!! Ahh well... I just better be good!!
So much magic, so little time..
Gosh, Thats only like 2 hours and 18 mins! That is too Short! Come on atleast 3 hours!
Hmm, 860 pages turned into 2.3 hours? I don't know...but if they managed to make it awesome, that's all that counts. I just saw POTC3 last night and it was 3 hours long, so I don't see why they can't make OOTP 3 hours long too. I'm sure they could have put more in the movie, like 'Accio Brain!', because that's my favorite part in the whole series and I won't get to see it on film. Ah well, my imagination is just as good I guess.
NOO!!! Too short!!!!! It's an 870 page book!! wa.. I am sad! ah well.... I really don't care that much about OotP Movie anymore..... DH is what's really important
*chanting* Too short! Too short! Too short! I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and it was almost three hours long! Movie7 HAS to be at least 3 hours long- they could have an intermission like they did in "Gone With the Wind." All the hard-core fans would sit through a 3+ HP movie!!
that's pretty short! how does that math work out! 870 pages=138 minutes? I'm about to see Pirates of the Caribbean tonight and it is like 3 hours long!
aww short. but at leas t** over 2hrs!
I wonder if there will be 10,000+ deleted scenes on the DVD....
The reading of the book took a minimum of eight hours; the movie, give or take some minutes, should AT LEAST be a bloody three hours! It's the LONGEST book, Warner Bros. Do you REALLY think that the Harry Potter Fandom is so non-strong that it won't be able to sit through a four hour-long movie, let alone three?
well.. That just ruined my day. *shakes head*..either they skipped EVERYTHING!! Or.. they put in Most things.. and made them go really fast .. which makes the acting HORRIBLE!! ugh.. i guess its just now time to wait until it comes out to see for sure how well it turned out...
2 hours and 18 minutes sounds about right. General movie-goers always complain about movies being too long (even when the movie is quite good), and anything over 2.5 hours would have been just that. HP is popular, yes, but it's no Lord of the Rings to get away with 3+ hours. The first two HP movies were longer, and consider the size of those books compared to OOTP! If they had not kept everything from those first two books in the movies, they'd have been considerably shorter and maybe purists wouldn't complain about the length of the HP movies from GOF on.
hey it works for me! as long as it's good i dont care how long it is....plus more than that would probably just get ridiculous after awhile (like the 2nd pirates) and i'm a dedicated fan...so woohoo!
omg this isn't right it's waaay too short! i thought it would be longer! grr..oh well..i still can't wait! : )
That's so short. >_< I was expecting at least 2 and a half hours... This means they're editing out so much. Gah! =(
138 minutes of awesomeness!! :D The longer, the better if you ask me. I can't wait!!!
wow...i thought it would be longer. hope we're not getting a seriously butchered movie here. Not an "Eragon", please! *begs*
Yaaaaaay another long Hary Potter flick! :D
that's so short. :(
Hmm. Not bad. I do wish they would extend it to 3 hours. I don't think too many people would mind. Ah, well. Not complaining. As long as the movie is good.
That's alright I suppose. I was looking for an extra 10 minutes at least, but I think GOF was about the same length.
They'd better make either HBP or DH at least 3 hours. Seriously, isn't it mostly about making a good movie and pleasing the fans? HP fans don't mind a lengthy HP movie at all. Ignore the general movie-goers who complain about the length; most of them don't understand HP, anyway, since they only know the movies' story.
Dang! I wanted it to be really long... how are they going to fit all of the scenes in :(
