OOTP US release date moved to July 11th
Warner Brothers has confirmed to MuggleNet that the release date for Order of the Phoenix has been moved to July 11th. No information has been revealed as to why, but no fans should be complaining!

mugglenet needs to change their count-down thingy
awwww...... I'm not complaining its just, I had it marked down on my calander, and now i have to change it. (I'm very lazy, thats why im sad)
Mugglenet needs to update their countdown! I told some people about the date change, but none of them even beleived it. They thought it was just another rumor, but i told them that if Mugglenet beleives it, then I beleive it! (and WB did confirm it)

this is so freakin' unfair! the us always gets everything first!! even though there are other countries with the 11th as the premiere, but if anyone deserved to have it on the 11th or earlier it should be the uk (i'm not british nor living in the uk!). this is some of the reasons i don't like america. why couldn't it be taiwan that had the headlines, cos they also have it the 11th...

My son saw a commercial for the movie that still lists the date for the 13th. If this is true why haven't they fixed this?
Yay! This means I can at least make the movie opening even if I have to miss (cries in terrible agony) the midnight release of the final book... It's okay though...I'm off saving the world one Tanzanian orphan at a time...you can miss the book release for that... WAHHH!!!!!

I read in the Indianapolis Star that the movie is being released early because of Friday the 13th being unlucky. i wouldn't want want to take any chances with a film, either.
i'm actually not happy about it because I have to go to college at that time and I was planning on coming home to see it with my friends but now i cant since its the middle of the week and I have a class the next morning. :(

Poo. I'm going to be in some backwards-town with no movie theatre in North Carolina on vacation. We were coming back on the 12th to make it for opening night. And I thought it was cool having it come out on Friday the 13th. Whatever. I'll still be able to see it then I suppose.
jeez...americans are all so superstitious...lol!
