it was always going to come out on the 12th here in australia because the 12th is a thursday and in australia movies are always released on thursdays (the only exeption to that is boxing bay movies) does america have something like that? maybe thats why.

but i thought the UK might be lucky and get it first since it is a british film and all but, of course they would give it to america first wouldnt they :( .......

You have got to be taking the micheal (a word i can not say on here, but i am in my head). This is darn right out or order to get Britain's hopes up like that and then upset them by giving it to the American's earlier. Harry Potter is 1 of my most loved films and books of course. But i think that we should have had it first as it was one of our Authors who wrote the book and it was our actors and actresses who are in the film, so why can we not have it first. BUT on the other hand and the good side i can not wait to see the film, waiting for the cinema to take the bookings and i am going on the first night whether i go on my own or with a gang. Come on JULY...........Yippe!!!!! !
