I want it to come out in 2007. I can't WAIT to read it even though it will be the last book of the series. I don't think that JKR will let fans rush her through her writing. She would not want to release a book that she won't be proud of.

Is anyone else really excited about the midnight book parties when the book is released? It's going to be even better than the previous book party releases just because it's the last book. I'm so excited for July 2007. It's going to be Harry Pottermania to the extreme! Yay!!!! *me super hyper*

Ooooh, wouldn't it just be awesome if it came out 7/7/07? I mean, we know that 7 is important in the books, but I don't think we really know JUST how important it is yet....I think I'm talking rubbish, don't mind me. However, if you noted on her website in the new part with the Magical Creature Runes, Number 7 = Unknown. Hmm Hmm....Ok, clearly being a detective doesn't suit me. xox

So the movie and the book will be coming out at the same time?.....well that sucks. They should spread them out so we have something to look foreard to, its like they're trying to kill 2 birds with one stone. People will be torn in two, there will be panic in the streets, and life as we know it will come to an abrupt end.........bummer.

Jo did say that she would never write another Harry Potter book. However, she did not say that she wouldn't write say a fantasy detective novel titled "Aurors". That may be from the viewpoint of one of the other characters...say Ron or Hermione. Also it wouldn't have...to be a children's book exactly. Yeah, I know it'll never happen but a girl can dream can't she.

I am going to read really really really slowly. I will contemplate each word and I will stop at every chapter and think about what I just read (maybe even breathe, who knows?). Unless of course destiny calls to me and urges me to keep reading, I will of course obey. I will walk around the house speaking to no one when I finish reading the seventh book. This is not good. Not at all. Not one ickle wickle little bit. You realize that if Book 7 come out late 2007, Jo's just gonna land her self pregnant agan! I mean, face it, she's already had like 4 kids in 3 years.

as cool as it would be for the book to be released on 7.7.07....i as well voted for a 2008 release...i know jkr wont let us down but this series deserves nothing more than an amazing finish...and i am going to be very upset when it is over...so if its not going to be 7.7.07 then i vote for harrys birthday in 08

So... I have been known this is, the year that the book's gonna come, since a few months ago. I'm waiting from Jo to tell the title of the book - like she did for the book 6, she said the title of that book the year before it published - and then for 2006-2007 season, some clues on her website for the upcoming 7. book. My hope is that in July or in August, Jo will make a surprise, like she did once before! ;)

Wow, that would be awesome... I hope for the summer of 2007. The earlier the better, but, of course, it would cause me some trouble me, as next year I'm going to have to enter the university, and I'll have to prepare for the exams, not read Harry Potter books - I doubt I'll have to take a HP test... But the temptation will be too strong. I don't like this coincedence :)

Okay. Thank God nowadays the time passes so fast anyway. 2007's gonna be upon us in, like, no time at all. Really. And it doesn't really matter when it ends. The books are always there to be reread, reread again, and reread yet again. Be positive. =)

OK can someone tell me why is it so bad if the 2 came out at the same time??? I mean, seriously, we're fans don't you guys want the most we can get and the sooner the better? I know I want it that way... I thought everybody would be happier if it came sooner. I mean, you can go see the movie in one night and then read the book in a couple of days, then re-watch the movie, and re-read the book, and so on like we always do!!! I think that it will be Jo who decides when to release the seventh book, not her publisher. I feel quite within my bounds to speak for all of Jo's readers everywhere when I say she may take as long as is necessary. After all, to rush her would be quite the grevious crime wouldn't it.

But Rowling may talk with her publisher and discuss about the release date of book seven. Not only Jo decides when it will be released, the publisher has the right to decide it either, for the promotions, ads and HP materials etc...
