Ok, ok...that is what I said, isn't it? You do have a right to your own opinion, I never denied that. I only wanted to let you know that you shouldn't (not that you can't, you do whatever you want) go around insulting people based on bad examples and not expect those people to feel somewhat offended. For example- I have never personally known anyone who is Muslim, but just because some fanatics that also happen to worship their god decided to go on jihad against America doesn't mean I think they're all like that. I've never met a Muslim, good or bad, but I have not let my past knowledge of what some Muslims did affect my feelings toward them. That would be stereotyping. I don't like stereotyping. But again (I forget how many times I've said this), you don't have to listen to me. You can do whatever you want. I'm merely stating that this reaction should not have come as a surprise to you. Hasn't everyone been taught since kindergarten that skin color means nothing? Insulting someone's race is just as bad as insulting someone's religion. I'm just annoyed that for some reason people think that one is more acceptable than the other.

loonylyke_luna you have a very good point, but there are tons of people that do the exact same thing as Laura Mallory. They take a case that will never go anywhere and they take it further and further and further. There are lots of people out there who believe what they are doing is right and won't listen to anyone else. She is being closed minded and nothing we can do or say will reach her, and my theory is to be nice to her and see what she does. Listen and silent are spelled with the same letters and I think she needs to be told that. My point is that.. She will never go anywhere with her case.. I once did a very bad stereotype of a certain race of people but then the next thing I knew my best friend was from that race and then my boyfriend was, and I realize that they are not all that bad and now I love them all and them all and see that they are not all the same. Well Anya, Timothy is those kinda ppl that i specify as Bigmouths...ppl who will not only get someone in trouble, but tell the WHOLE world everything about that person....i know his type. Well, you didn't believe my apology, that's ok, i don't mind. when i apologized i said i won't be getting into vicious arguments with you and coming on other posts calling you bad names just to bait you into a fight. did i do that yet? nope, never again. well, i would like to hear your experience with Christianity, i've been anxious for you to explain to me. Christians are not perfect and righteous, we're just as ordinary and sinful as everyone else. We just strive to lead good exemplary life. I'm not perfect, nor am i trying to make myself one. If i hate something, i would give reasons to why i hate it, then seek advice from someone to show me how to deal and move on with it. Oh Lord. Anya, PK is right in saying that Christians are not perfect. I know I'm definitely not. If you come across someone trying to say they are, they're pretentious idiots. Same goes to whatever you may have experienced with past Christians: if they've done something that terrible to you (and I believe you- not much could induce such unwillingness to accept the fact that there are good Christians out there), then it is likely that God will punish them. I don't know. I don't know the whole story, and I'm certainly not God, so I can't judge that. In any case, you're hardly one to talk about Christly love. But really Anya, I don't hate you. I swear to God (yes, I just did) I don't. I don't agree with the majority of what you said at all, but I don't hate you. That would be stupid, and definitlely unChristian of me. I only object to your lack of consideration and manners. No matter what anyone has been through, it's still not right to be mean. It's difficult to forgive, but it's been done. I am just going to say a little example here.. My Uncle is a Christian.. A Methodist minister.. My whole family is filled with Christian's. Chatholic on one side and Methodist on another.. I have had Christian's try to push their views on me, but I am open to all religions and appreciate all of them. The Chinese religions interest me the most, but anyway.. My Uncle.. I have told him I do not believe in God.. And he is okay with it and so far he has not forced his views on me. We talk about God, not the Christian God, but a God, and all his wonders.. We are recently e-mailing each other about why people expect God to be perfect and it is a lot of pressure on one living organism to be perfect. To me, God is just as imperfect as us and feels as we do and hurts as we do and makes as much mistakes as we do. Not all Christians are the same and I am so sorry AnyaMarcos that you have had a horrible experiance with Christians, and I don't blame you for feeling the way you do, but maybe, just maybe, you can open up some.. Like I did, you know? I think I can shed some light on the Anya vs. Timothy feud. The first time I saw either of them make comments(keep in mind...I haven't been commenting all that long) was when Mugglenet first reported on Laura Mallory's pathetic little fight to ban HP books in her local school libraries. To the best of my recollection, Anya started off with an anti-Christian comment, which caused Timothy to take offense. Sadly, our boy Tim falls for her bait every time. You'd think he'd just ignore her, but no. I'm at a loss as to why Tim and other Christians are bothering to get so worked-up at Anya. As I said in a previous post, anyone with a strong faith is not going to get bothered by someone like Anya. Oh, and phoenixknight...you wanted to know what Anya's problem is with Christians. She revealed a while back that some Christians drove a couple of her friends to suicide. Hope that makes things a little clearer for you.

But there IS a way to make yourself heard without insulting people, which is what you've been doing.
