Wow! Larges clue about the book since the covers were originally released! I guess this probably means the trio doesn't go back to Hogwarts and does go off Horcrux Hunting. Do you suppose that's Norbert? This is definitely getting me even more excited for Book 7!!

SOOOOO happy I reserved the deluxe edition now. And it that's Norbert they're riding... it'd be such a great way to tie everything together and connect the first book (which felt distinctly separate from the others to me until the constant allusions in OotP) and the seventh. *glee spasm*

I am calling an unknown dragon (Charlie) and Godric's Hollow below because I dont see Hogwarts and hogwarts is near Hogsmeade.

I bet they are riding Norburt. Remeber in the 1st book when they have to send the dragon to Charlie Weasley. I bet the Dragon is Norburt!

Yay! You can tell that the dragon is old because his wings look tattered(but then again we don't really know much about dragons so for all we know it's a baby) I think Ron and hermione are going back to hogwarts based on this. They are wearing black robes, but harry is just wearing a jacket, but he's wearing the same shirt he is in the first cover, if that's significant at all. I can't wait till they dissect this on MuggleCast !

They're definately over Godric's Hollow...It is the journey Harry told his best friends that he wanted to do..In the end of book 6..I LOVE IT!!And let us keep our fingers crossed that this book it's gonna be the best in the series..Because sth was missing in the last two..

Wow, this is Really cool! I like the idea of it being Norbert, but whoever pointed out that the oriental look suggests a chinese fireball has a point too. I'm going to have to consult Fantastic Beasts, or at least the HP lexicon's pages about dragons.

A dragon! Just when I thought I couldn't get any more excited for this book...

After my spaz a few comments up, I looked at the cover art again. Who's to say it couldn't be Hogwarts? The village could be Hogsmeade, and Hogwarts is always depicted in the movies with lots of hills and water- and there's lots of hills and water on this. I know the movies aren't always correct, but I think there's a mention of mountains in the books, too. So I vote it's Hogsmeade. I think that this is directly before the US cover, and maybe after the UK Childrens? So, they go to a vault, then get the dragon, fly past Hogwarts to get something they figured out they'd need, and now they go to wherever the US cover is showing (though it has to be just Harry and Voldemort, so Hermione and Ron are probably off fighting some death eaters somewhere nearby). And now I think Ron and Hermione did go back to Hogwarts, because the robes tip us off. But Harry definatly doesn't... 42 days... so close, but so far!

Yeah, I think it's Norbert. And since Harry's got on the same shirt as the other cover and its the same time of day, they must be heading to were-ever the other cover took place... Sounds about right. ~MM~

All of you need to remember that Dragons grow real fast. Remember how big Norbert was after just a couple of weeks with Hagrid. It's been several years now, and that's a lot of time to grow. This may be Norbert, and I'm thinking that it is. Also, why is Hermione laying down?

Also thought I'd point out that Harry's scar is clearly there on the delux edition... there had been some speculation as to if it was hidden by his bangs or just not there in the normal US edition and childrens UK.

To the person who said Draco: it's doubtful. Although the colour of the artwork raises questions about the colour of the boy at the back's hair, the hairstyle itself makes me believe it couldn't be Malfoy. Also, I think the boy in the artwork has a less harsh face than Malfoy. Nice idea, though. ;)

to me, that looks like an Opal Eye dragon, more commonly found in NZ and Australia. Why would a dragon be willing to let them ride on it> dargons cannot be tamed, we know this. Unless the dragon is under the imperius curse, which could explain its misty eyes (rather than being the opaleye breed) or it could be a grown Norbert...

OH god! I can't wait now. Where are they going? And is that really Ron? I didnt think it was him at first and I got nervous. But, i guess it is. Sooo exciting! I can't wait to get mine!
