Interview with 2 Animagi and a Werewolf:

1. Why do you play wizard rock?

We've always been huge Harry Potter-fans, and we wanted to give a contribution to the Harry Potter culture. But the main reason is because it's so much fun!

2. What do you personally get out of being in a wizard rock band?

Besides the fun we have, we get absolutely nothing!

3. What influences your music/your style?

Harry Potter, what else? (and of course ideas from my genius bandmebers)

4. How long have you been playing?

Not so very long, we're new on the front.

5. Do you plan to continue having shows and writing songs even though the Harry Potter series has been completed, and why?

Of course! It would be crazy not to! The fact that the series is completed almost gives us more reason to continue playing wrock. Harry Potter has got to live on somehow! KEEP THE WIZARDRY WORLD ALIVE!

6. What is your favorite part of being in a wizard rock band?

Everything, from finding the perfect chorus to your new song, to laughing to much that you're unable to record the song.

7. What is your least favorite part of being in a wizard rock band?

Nothing, except sitting and longing for writing a new song, when you just can't come up with anything good! If something's annoying, that's it!

8. What advice do you have for potential future wizard rockers?

Just be yourself. Really, what's the worst thing that can happen?

9. How do you explain wizard rock to people who are new to the genre or to people who (heaven forbid) have never read Harry Potter?

If that person hasn't read Harry Potter we would say something in style with: 'Wizard Rock is great music that is made by people who are crazy about the Harry Potter books and want to express there love for the books in songs. You really should consider reading those books! They're great!' If the person has read the books, but doesn't know what wizard rock is we would say: 'Wizard Rock is a genre made by HP fans. It's basically songs that's about different people/places/things that happened in the book.'

10. Is your band completely DIY, and do you think that being completely DIY is an integral part of being a wizard rock band?

Yes, almost. Sometimes our friends at school help us out with the lyrics to our songs. There are more important things than being DIY, but we think (in most cases) that music is better if you do it all by yourself.

11. Have you ever been approached by a corporate record-label asking to sponsor your band? If so, what was your reaction and if not, what would your reaction be in such a situation?

No, unfortunately we have not. But naturally we'd be SUPER happy if it did happen!

12. Has your band ever had any copyright-infringement issues, and if so how have you dealt with them?

No, since we're a new band.

13. Is there any specific message you would like to share with your fans?

If we have any fans, we would all like to thank them and hope that they can be patient with us. Sometimes it can take a long time to make new songs, and we are trying to learn (get someone who can play an instrument) how to make background music/play an instrument.
