“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is finally out in the world, and while that’s probably going to occupy our attention for… the foreseeable future (at least), the film’s release means that several other “Potter”-ish items are out in the world as well!

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” has nearly arrived, and that means interviews with the cast and crew are a dime a dozen. David Heyman, producer of the “Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” films, provided us with an interesting tidbit we hadn’t heard before in a recent interview: that Bruce Springsteen wrote a song inspired by “Harry Potter” that was turned down for the films.
Back in August, we were thrilled to see the designs of Insight Editions’ new “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” journals. Now, not only are those journals available for purchase, we also have a set of them to giveaway to one lucky winner!

We’ve been waiting years, and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is nearly upon us! Details about the second film are beginning to leak out, but there’s still plenty of mystery left about the first movie as well. Luckily, we have J.K. Rowling to help clarify some things for us.
The “Potter” community may have taken notice of Eddie Redmayne relatively recently, but his climb to super-stardom has been a long one. In a recent interview with CBS, Redmayne discusses his acting method and some of his early acting experiences, including his time working in a pub!

As fun as coloring is, we did wonder at first if we needed yet another version of the “Harry Potter” adult coloring book. After all, there are already some really great ones on the market – and yet we found that “Winter at Hogwarts: A Magical Coloring Set” does manage to set itself apart from the rest.
