Half-Blood Prince Fan Submitted Reviews

I finished reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince this afternoon, and agree with the book reviews that JK Rowling has created another great addition to the Harry Potter series. I read the book as fast as I could; from the moment I brought the book home I was glued, much to my four-month-old daughter's dismay.
Each chapter budded new questions while also relinquishing fresh answers. Answers, I'm sure many Harry Potter fans have whispered on the tips of their tongues for months in waiting for the arrival of the Half-Blood Prince. My heart rushed as I read on and on over the hours, beating in trepidation for the event that I was sure would come -- the death of Dumbledore, and I was right.
While I do not believe HBP was as action oriented as the Order of the Phoenix (my favorite to date), Half-Blood Prince has its moments, and the last few chapters are heart wrenching. What I like best about Rowling is that she talks about death openly in the Harry Potter books, a topic many parents find difficult to discuss with their children. The bad guy isn't always the one who dies, and life must go on. I cannot wait to see what Rowling does with the next chapter of Harry Potter’s life: will Hogwarts indeed, finally be closed? And who is the mysterious R.A.B? I have my ideas... good day to you all!
