HBP...

Seeing as how I just finished the book, all the new information gained is still fresh and has not exactly sunken in. And my, how much information we got this time around! I can't even begin to express how much I loved this sixth installment of the series. Of course, with every new Harry Potter book we find ourselves infatuated and claim, "it's the best one yet".

Although, now I can whole-heartedly scream at the top of my lungs (okay maybe not scream...) Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is, in my opinion, the most insightful book yet. Not only do we learn much more about the man we call Lord Voldemort but also suffer a great loss at the hands of a, dare I say, filthy traitor. I for one had my worries about how Mrs. Rowling would age the characters with grace, but I think she's really captured the ups and downs of adolescence perfectly.

Ultimately, most people will complain about the significant death of one of our most beloved characters but I can see an upside to the tragedy, although I won't even begin to touch on that subject.
