If Harry Potter really deserves your devotion (and it does, it does!), it won’t be disloyal to read other things. In fact, reading other books can make the Potter books seem fresh again when you go back to them. Instead of reading nothing but Harry until you’re sick of him, refresh yourself with something by Diana Wynne Jones, or Eva Ibbotson, or E. Nesbit, for a change.
