MuggleNet | The Book Trolley - A Note from Robbie

A Note from Robbie

Every week I get tons of messages from readers of The Book Trolley, many of them suggesting books I should add to the list. I've been saving up your suggestions and, in many cases, following up on them in my own readings. For instance, your feedback goaded me into reading the Dalemark Quartet, Eragon, and The Series of Unfortunate Events, to name a few, and I am deeply grateful for it!

But the truth comes out at last: I am but one man, with but one pair of eyes, and only so much spare time to enjoy good books. Regrettably, I cannot personally read all the books you so kindly recommend. Many of these suggestions are interesting and I wish I could give each one immediate attention, or even promise to seek them out as soon as I vanquish the long row of unread books on my shelf. I hope that at some point I will get a crack at them. Meanwhile, I ask your indulgence as I go on reading what I choose and when I choose.

Because I respect your suggestions, however -- and also, maybe, to avoid too many repetitions -- I have decided to offer this list of titles that you, the readers of The Book Trolley, have recommended. It will be updated occasionally, if new suggestions are made or if I actually review some of these books and they can be taken off the list.
