Tom Felton appears on TV show 8 Out Of 10 Cats

Earlier today actor Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, appeared on the British television quiz show 8 Out Of 10 Cats. In this special movie edition of the show Tom Felton talks briefly about his role in the films and revealed that in the past he has received hate mail for his potrayal of Draco. Jessie Cave back for Deathly Hallows

There is a new interview with Jessie Cave, who plays Lavender Brown in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, in the July issue of Tatler magazine. In the interview, she discusses her “crush” on co-star Rupert Grint and how she got the part of Lavender Brown: For the final audition I was kitted out in Hogwarts uniform and driven in a golf- buggy to the Gryffindor common room. I had to improvise in front of a room full of people with Rupert and a paper biscuit for half an hour. The article also states that Jessie will be back for the final Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows film. Simon McBurney cast as Kreacher in Deathly Hallows

We've learned that the casting agency representing actor Simon McBurney lists him as having the role of Kreacher in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Emma Watson becomes new face of Burberry

This is London is reporting this morning that the actress who plays Hermione has kicked off her first major advertisement campaign with clothing company Burberry: “Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign,” said Burberry's creative director, Christopher Bailey. “I wanted the images to represent the rich history and modernity of Burberry while reflecting a quiet beauty, timelessness and strength that is particularly significant today. Emma has a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge. Smaller Half-Blood Prince casting roles revealed

Casting Call Pro UK has several actors and actresses listed for roles in Half-Blood Prince, and one of them may suggest how the film opens up. Teresa Mahoney, pictured left, has been cast as “Sofie” in “Boardroom – Opening Scene”. This leads us to believe that Half-Blood Prince's opening may stay true to the book. Tony Coburn cast as Young Lucius Malfoy

BlogHogwarts.com has online an interview with Tony Coburn, who will be playing Young Lucius Malfoy in Half-Blood Prince. In the interview, he talks about what scenes he's filmed and who he's worked with: BH: Have you filmed your scenes for Half-Blood Prince? In which scenes are you involved? TC: The scenes have been shot and I was in a dinner scene with Professor Slughorn. I was also an extra in Dumbledore’s death scene which was a night shoot. BH: Who did you work with? Who did you meet? TC: I acted with Jim Broadbent and was in the death scene with Michael Gambon, Daniel Radcliffe, Maggie Smith and Robbie Coltrane.
