Featured Fan Art this week: Emma

FanArt

Our featured Fan Art submission this week comes in video format - a speed drawing of Emma Watson by Sylvain. What a great opportunity to see an artist at work! Notice how Sylvain starts by sketching main features of Emma's face, then every so slowly builds the image with layers of shading, until finally highlighting certain features by outlining with dark lines and erasing other portions to create contrast. I must say as well the music really adds something to the experience of watching this video. Great work Sylvain! Read More »

FanArt

Our featured Fan Art submission this week comes courtesy of Jackie. It's a pen drawing of the boy wizard himself, looking rather pensive as he stares off into space. MuggleNet Fan Art of the Week: ‘Narcissa Malfoy’

narcissa

For this week’s MuggleNet Fan Art, we share with you a pencil drawing of ‘Narcissa Malfoy’ that was created by MuggleNet fan Jess. You can see the large image of Narcissa right here. Noah’s Notes: This is a terrific piece, which is modeled after actress Helen McCrory. Narcissa has a sort of evil elegance about her. The amount of detail that went into the drawing is extraordinary – notice how Jess constructs the jacket using hundreds of little crosshair lines. Excellent work Jess! While we are still performing maintenance on our Gallery, we invite you to head over to the latest section on MuggleNet, as Alohomora! has a few fan art pieces for you to explore. We hope to have our Gallery operating in the near future and apologize for the inconvenience. Read More »
