I used a grey lead pencil initially, and then traced over the thin outlines with a very thin shade of my Faber Castell pencils. The scene in Deathly Hallows with Harry and Hermione in Godric's Hollow is a scene I really like, and I couldn't help being presented with the most amazing imagery when I thought about it."

Titled 'Childhood Shadow,' this piece was painted from a photograph taken at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - and the perspective of the picture is literally from within the castle's shadows. The artist, Kaden, used oil paints on canvas and was inspired to make this picture because he felt that, as a long time fan of the series, he had been living in Hogwarts' shadow all his life.
