Back in July, we reported on a tip regarding a Harry Potter-themed Minecraft server called "Dumbledore's Army." It was due to open in August of 2013 but was pushed forward to December. ‘Wonderbook: Book of Spells’ mini-games available on Pottermore Insider blog

As part of a promotion for the release of the PlayStation 3 game Wonderbook: Book of Spells, out just last week, the Pottermore Insider blog is hosting four mini-games for fans to play. The first game, a short quiz on wizard values, is available to play now, and three other games will be released in the coming weeks: on November 21 you can learn to cast a “Water-Making Spell,” on November 28 you can learn to cast a “Fire-Making Spell,” and on December 5 you can learn to cast a “Revealing Charm.” Book of Spells is an interactive game that lets you feel as if you are learning spells at Hogwarts. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a free downloadable demo of Harry Potter for Kinect on Xbox LIVE. The Kinect camera allows each player to scan in their own face to create a unique witch or wizard to study at Hogwarts and journey through the adventures of the film series. Harry Potter for Kinect is available October 9 exclusively for Xbox 360; rated “E 10+” (suitable for ages 10 and older).
