Latest News: Collectormania has been extended a day due to the sheer number of guests attending. It now runs from Friday the 3rd of October to Monday 6th. Wow! Around 50 people have emailed to say they will be attending Collectormania through MuggleNet. I can now tell you the details of what's going to happen. I'm going to be there with Matt (admin of CoS forums) on Saturday early morning until evening and Sunday early morning until evening. We managed to get a stand at Collectormania where we are going to put the site banner up. It's about 4 feet by 2 feet - you can't miss it! If everyone wants to come there early on the Saturday morning, we can all have a chat before everyone goes to get their autographs. Matt and myself will be around during both days if you have any questions or ideas. In the evening, I was thinking about having a MuggleNet dinner, but with 50 people, I'm not sure where we'd go. I think it's best if we talk about when everyone is there and decide what to do. If you all still need accomodation, Matt and I are staying at this hotel: Milton Keynes North (Old Stratford). If anyone has any more questions, please email me. If not, I'll see you all there on the Saturday!

Lastly, there is a Harry Potter event on the Saturday evening at 6:30pm, featuring a question and answer session with all the HP stars coming for the event. It will be a great time to voice your idea or question to one of the cast! Tickets can be bought on the Collectormania site here. Just click on the Events tab on the left hand side menu! Collectormania is an extremely popular trade fair in which several different companies or collectors set up stalls that sell merchandise, autographs and any other objects that they wish to sell. Therefore, Collectormania is an ideal location if you want to acquire an autograph that you have been trying to find for a while, or a limited edition collection piece that you want. However, Collectormania also boasts several famous guests that attend the convention for you to meet, get an autograph and have your photo taken with. The line up for this year is amazing, and can be seen at the Collectormania website.

This year, Collectormania 4 will take place on 3rd-5th October in Milton Keynes, England. I am currently in negotiations with Collectormania for MuggleNet to have a special event during the Collectormania event. Firstly, I need to know how many people will be attending Collectormania through MuggleNet, so I know what I need to plan for.

I'm not entirely sure what event we are going to be holding presently, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

So far, the HP stars attending are:

• Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom)
• James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley)
• Toby Jones (voice of Dobby)
• Christian Coulson (Tom Riddle)

However, the list is not complete and so we may well be expecting more HP stars to turn up! The LOTR line up is equally impressive, with the likes of Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan and more. Check the Collectormania site for details of all guests!

I attended Collectormania 3 last year and I must say it was one of the best events I have ever been to. The guests are really friendly and you are allowed to have a brief chat with them when you get your autograph. The atmosphere is also electric: the hall is packed full of fans! Through this event, I got to meet the likes of Tom Felton, Devon Murray and Warwick Davis and it was an experience I will never forget. You won't either, so come along and enjoy it.
