Harry Potter Collector's Handbook Review

I am a devoted fan of J.K. Rowling's amazing "Harry Potter" series and a staff member of MuggleNet.com. As such, I have met, spoken to, befriended, or have been in contact with hundred's of other devoted fans over the years. Many of these fans have collected some form of merchandise from the Harry Potter series, and some of them have an incredible collection in their homes worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

For some, amassing these collections has taken years of searching and gathering. Displays can take up a bookshelf or a wall or even an entire room for the most devoted. But how does one truly know if the item is authentic, or what to look for when purchasing a new collectible, or what the value of their treasure really is? Here is the answer:

The Harry Potter Collector's Handbook, written by William Sylvester, is truly the one book that every collector of the Harry Potter series must have on his or her shelf. It will provide the collector with an honest idea of the value of an item, or provide a buyer with the knowledge of what to look for in each item they consider purchasing by way of the Internet, or even in a thrift store. All of the merchandise listed is insightful, informative and easy to find as this collection is very well organized. The incredible amount of research that was put into this guide was extremely thorough and precise.

Fans of the Harry Potter series, even if they are only casual collectors, can enjoy this book because many of the items are joined with a color picture of the item, which can in turn remind us of the scene we saw in the movies or read during the fantastic journey of Harry Potter in the books. As such, the Harry Potter Collector's Handbook, which is published by Krause Publications, will make the perfect gift for a fellow fan of the Harry Potter series this holiday season.
