Such was the recurring question Ben and I faced as we toured the country this summer promoting our book, MuggleNet.com's What Will Happen in Harry Potter 7. (Signed copies now available for sale at this link.) The book spent 26 weeks on the New York Times Children's Bestseller List, at its peak reaching the #2 spot.
So, how did we do? The majority of our predictions turned out to be fairly on the mark. But of course, the list of things we didn't see coming would be extremely long.

OUR MAJOR PREDICTIONS
What we said: Harry is a Horcrux.
What happened: "Harry, you are the seventh Horcrux."
What we said: R.A.B. is Regulus Arcturus Black.
What happened: We pretty much spoiled that entire plot.
What we said: Snape is working on Dumbledore's orders, motivated by his love for Lily Potter, and would eventually sacrifice himself for the good of the Order.
What happened: Snape was working on Dumbledore's Orders, motivated by his love for Lily Potter, and eventually died for the good of the Order.
What we said: Harry and Ginny would get married and make babies, and Ron and Hermione would get married and make babies.
What happened: Lots of lovin'.
What we said: Hogwarts would re-open.
What happened: Lots of learnin'. Harry didn't go back, though.
What we said: Even though JKR completely sunk the Neville/Luna ship, we said even if she didn't intend to, she set in place a solid foundation for a relationship between the two, and there was still the possibility.
What happened: Nothing. But, JKR admitted to the Today Show that as time passed and she watched her characters mature, she started to “feel a bit of a pull” between the pair. And ultimately, she left the question of their relationship open at the end of the book because doing otherwise “felt too neat.”
