At EA I conducted interviews with many of the wizards behind the video game. The actual interviews will appear on MuggleCast, our Harry Potter podcast. The first interview, with Harvey Elliott, Executive producer, was released with last week's MuggleCast. The next interview will appear in the MuggleCast released on Sunday, May 20th.


Until that time, here are the biographies of the guys behind Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix [you can see their very Harry Potterish photos here]:

Harvey Elliott
Executive Producer, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™
Electronic Arts UK Studio

Harvey Elliott is the Executive Producer for the Harry Potter™ videogame franchise for Electronic Arts. Harry Potter is Electronic Arts’ most successful videogames series covering five games to date, across nine platforms and generating a gross revenue of over $1 bn. Previous to taking on the Harry Potter franchise, Harvey was the Executive Producer for Electronic Arts on the critically acclaimed Burnout Takedown which attained a number one position in a host of world wide territories.


Justin Manning
Producer, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™
Electronic Arts UK Studio

Justin Manning joined the UK Studio in May 2000 and serves as Producer on the production of the console and PC games based on the Harry Potter™ property, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™. Prior to joining the UK Studio, Manning held positions in QA and marketing at Microprose and as an artist at Hothouse Creations. Since joining Electronic Arts his work has included F1 2001, F1 2002, Quidditch World Cup, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban™ and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™.


Matt Birch
Producer, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™
Electronic Arts UK Studio

Matt joined the UK Studio in June 1999 and serves as a Producer on the design and direction of the console and PC games based on the Harry Potter property, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Prior to joining the UK studio Matt worked at Bizarre Creations collaborating on projects with Sony and Sega. Since joining Electronic Arts his work has included F1 2000, F1 2001, Shox, Quidditch World Cup, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Matt loves Harry Potter, particularly the characters Fred and George, who rock.


Christopher Roberts
Game Designer, Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix™
Electronic Arts UK Studio

Christopher Roberts joined the UK Studio in October 2005 and serves as a Game Designer on the production of the console and PC games based on the Harry Potter property, Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix. Prior to joining the UK Studio, Roberts was a Lead Game Designer at Criterion Games working on Burnout and Burnout 2: Point of Impact published by Acclaim he also worked on Burnout 3: Takedown and Burnout: Revenge published by Electronic Arts. Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix is his first Harry Potter game.


Wayne Stables
CG Supervisor, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™
Electronic Arts UK Studio

Wayne Stables joined the UK Studio in November 2004 as Lighting Lead on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™, and currently serves as CG Supervisor on the production of the console and PC games based on the Harry Potter property, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™. Prior to joining Electronic Arts, Stables worked in the feature films industry at PDI Dreamworks working on Shrek 2, and at WETA Digital working on the Lord of the Rings film trilogy.


Kelvin Tuite
Art Director, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™
Electronic Arts UK Studio

Kelvin Tuite is the Art Director for the Harry Potter™ videogame franchise and joined the EA Bullfrog studio in 1998 to work on the STARS football franchise. Prior to working in games, he worked in design, animation and motion graphics for advertising, television and film on projects as diverse as Gamesmaster, Catchphrase, The Comic Strip presents…, Judge Dredd, Hackers, Cocoa Cola, Guinness, and Atari Teenage Riot.
