About the author: The feather that 'ghost-writes' this column was plucked from the tail of a very forgiving Dodo bird, residing in the Really Unplottable Rare Bird Sanctuary (off the coast of Idaho). It is proud to say that it bears no family relation to the Magic Quill owned by Rita Skeeter. The real trick was teaching the feather to type and use e-mail, with which it requires some assistance from a Muggle called Robbie.

If you'd like to contact Robbie (or the Magic Quill itself), you may do so here.
