Welcome to The Three Broomsticks

Hello everyone, I'm hpboy13, known in the Muggle world as Irvin! I identify as a Ravenpuff (leaning slightly towards Hufflepuff), though some people insist I have Slytherin in me. I'm a 19-year-old student at NYU, studying Ravenclaw-y things like accounting. In my free time, I lead the world's first wizard dance troupe, the Dancing Death Eaters. I play Beater for the NY Badassilisks; and I get up to all kinds of mayhem with The Group That Shall Not Be Named, including lots of HP cosplay. I've been a fan of the books since 2001 (which is almost ten years ago - wow!), and a loyal follower of Mugglenet since 2003. My teenage years were spent reading every editorial that was ever posted on this site, and I started getting my own published in 2007. Now I have my own column!

Be warned: my views are often controversial, my editorials are often biased, and I am always completely unapologetic about it. If you should happen to disagree with me, head over to the comment sections and say so - I absolutely love having a friendly argument! If, on the other hand, I have convinced you with my opinions, go to the comments in my defense against the naysayers! Either way, let's get some good discussion going.
