Benedict Clarke’s first film role was young Severus Snape in Deathly Hallows – Part 2. He was born in London in 1996. He usually goes by the nickname “Ben.” Apart from the Harry Potter series, he has acted in several short films, including Awkward Facades and In the Wake of Sirens.
He is a big fan of the BBC series Sherlock and enjoys taking photographs.

Benedict appears as young Severus Snape in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 during the scenes that correspond to the chapter “The Prince’s Tale.” He shot his scenes during April 2010. The cast and crew alternated between shooting on set at Leavesden Studios and on location in Hertfordshire.
Benedict was sorted into Hufflepuff on Pottermore.
He attended school with Alfie McIlwain, who played young James Potter.
