We have been waiting for what seems like an eternity for Emma Watson's film The Perks of Being A Wallflower to be released in theaters. Today, we can officially announce the date has been set by Summit Entertainment for September 14, 2012.

MTV has officially reported the story that the film will be a limited release. But we are still excited to see this film, especially after all the controversy surrounding the MPAA's rating earlier this year.

The film is adapted from Stephen Chbosky's coming-of-age tale, which follows Charlie (Logan Lerman) as he navigates the trials of high school with the help of his new upperclassmen friends, Sam (Emma) and Patrick (Ezra Miller). They bring Charlie out of his shell and make him feel like he's part of something bigger than himself. But as he begins to fall for Sam, things get complicated—such is the life of a teenager.

Emma herself is excited as she stated, "I feel incredible about it. I feel like I've been waiting for 'Perks.' I was waiting for this story, for this script, for this moment, for these people to do it with me. I'm so glad I didn't do anything that I didn't care about."

We also reported that Emma herself, along with her co-stars Ezra and Logan, will be at the MTV Movie Awards to premiere the first official trailer for the movie on June 3rd.

Are you excited to see this film? Let us know in the comments below.

Our next Fan Art submission of the week comes from Pearson, and it's a very interesting artistic rendering of Lord Voldemort. You can see the full size image right here!

Noah's Notes: This was expertly drawn using only ink. Notice how Voldemort's face seems to be sinking in places and otherwise fading into the black background. Appropriately, the piece is drawn distorted and dark to capture Voldy's broken personality. Great work Pearson!

If you are interested in creating your own fan art for others to view and perhaps even get highlighted here on the MuggleNet Home Page, then submit your art work to MuggleNet Fan Art's email at fanart@staff.mugglenet.com.

Looking to own a personal 'doodle' from one of your favorite Harry Potter characters while also supporting a worthwhile charity? Well here is your chance!

Several of the Potter stars have signed and doodled on a tambourine for a quirky fundraising project dreamt up by Birmingham-based musical charity Sound It Out. Sound It Out uses music as a medium to make a real difference to people facing challenging circumstances in some of the most deprived communities across the West Midlands. The charity delivers positive activities to people most in need in settings such as hospitals, community centres, schools and young offenders units.

Here are the links to the personal tambourines up for bid on eBay:

Will you be the one to own a Harry Potter star's tambourine?

We reported previously of Alan Rickman's upcoming role in CBGB, the Hilly Kristal rock 'n' roll flick, which is based on the owner and founder of the CBGB club in New York. It is now reported that Rupert Grint - the fan favorite who portrayed Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series - will be joining Rickman as Cheetah Chrome; early punk rock guitarist of the band The Dead Boys.

The early days of CBGBs were filled with the fledgling acts that became music and generational icons—including Blondie and The Ramones, Green Day, Bruce Springsteen, The Police, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Soul Asylum.

We also reported that Rickman would be portraying former US President Ronald Regan in the new film The Butler. Rickman is just the latest of the big-name stars to join the cast that includes Oprah Winfrey, Forest Whitaker, Jane Fonda, Liam Neeson, and John Cusack. Matthew McConaughey, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Terrence Howard have also been mentioned for the film.

Other Harry Potter stars also are involved in some new projects including: Ralph Fiennes [Lord Voldemort] and Helen McCrory [Narcissa Malfoy] in the next James Bond film, Skyfall (2012); Ralph Fiennes will also be in The Invisible Woman (the story of Charles Dickens secret mistress) as director and star (as Charles Dickens) slated for release in 2013, and again in Great Expectations (2012) alongside Helena Bonham Carter [Bellatrix Lestrange], Robbie Coltrane [Rubeus Hagrid], Jessie Cave [Lavender Brown], and Helena Barlow [Rose Weasley], which is to be directed by Mike Newell (director of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire).

Additionally, Dame Maggie Smith [Minerva McGonagall] and Michael Gambon [Albus Dumbledore] are slated for the film Quartet (2012). Lastly, be sure to catch Helena Bonham Carter in her lasted movie directed by husband Tim Burton in the film Dark Shadows, which is currently playing in theaters.

Which of the former Potter stars are you looking forward to seeing back on the big screen? Let us know in the comments below.

We reported yesterday that Bloomsbury was "counting on a new Rowling three-book set" in order to help boost their sales profits and volumes. We asked you to let us know what you thought this might lead to, and you provided some great responses.

However, it is now known that Bloomsbury will be releasing the supplemental works, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard as one complete box-set.

It will be the first time that these will be available in a hardcover format in the UK.

This set will be released in the fall of this year. Are you excited to see this collection come together in hardcover? Let us know in the comments below.
