Perhaps a title lying on the more unconventional side for the Harry Potter author, most inspirational businesswoman is without a doubt a title to be proud of. Woman’s World reports that in a survey of UK freelancers, J.K. Rowling took in 23 per cent of votes in the Crunch Accounting research.
The poll was taken in honour of International Women’s Day, which takes place Saturday, March 8. Other notable names on the list are Anita Roddick, founder of The Body Shop (16%), Karen Brady, vice-chairman of West Ham United (12%), and Victoria Beckham, fashion entrepreneur (3%).
Laura Hughes, Accountancy Training Manager at Crunch Accounting, noted that “Woman from across the digital and creative industries received far more votes than the corporate heavyweights…”
J.K. Rowling has always served as an inspiration to many, for many reasons. With these results, maybe we should now be looking toward her for advice on entrepreneurial ventures in addition to creating the perfect villain in a novel.

In honor of World Book Week, pupils at Charlton-On-Otmoor Primary School were pleasantly surprised when instead of having a normal week, the whole school was suddenly transformed into Hogwarts. Teachers dressed up, pupils were sorted into houses and there was even a visit from Oxford University's Quidditch team.
The Oxford Times reported that the week started as it normally would, with an assembly. Of course that's when things turned quite different.
"It was just a normal assembly for the children,"said dance teacher Sissi Tellechea, "and then they started noticing smoke coming out of the cupboard and got really excited."
Mike Wisbach, heateacher of the school, explained that he "went into the cupboard as if [he] was working out the cause, and then Sissi jumped out as a witch."
"She told the children that the Board of Wizarding Education said the school's magic was so poor they would shut it down, but they had one week to prove themselves."
From then on, the rest of the week was spent with fun, games and...well, magic. A hat with a walkie talkie was used for the sorting and they then spent their time learning all sorts of magical lessons and baking bizarre treats.
Lucky children! How many of you wish this had happened at your school?

Timothy Spall (Peter Pettigrew) will be gracing the cover of the magazine and providing readers with an inside look into his lengthy career. The actor has joined the BBC comedy Blandings, playing an eccentric aristocrat. In his interview, which is available only with a subscription to the magazine, he also talks how his anti-romantic-hero looks have been an asset to his career.
“It's not a struggle for me to look like these downtrodden characters. I'm blessed by looking the way I do, so I don't have to fight against natural beauty!”
As The Grand Budapest Hotel nears its limited release, Ralph Fiennes will grace the pages of M for the 2014 Spring edition. He looks far from his Voldemort years, the gorgeous suit bringing out the blue of his eyes. Voldemort who? Fiennes also talks about his character Gustave in the Wes Anderson flick.

“Because of ‘Sold’s’ marvelous script and courageous and brilliant cast, it is a story that we can all watch – so that we may understand the processes of slavery in modern India and feel able to act without feeling the kind of rage and hopelessness that gets in the way of doing anything.”
Chris Columbus is set to direct Pixels, a movie adaptation of a short film of the same name, starring Adam Sandler. The film about videogame characters like Donkey Kong attacking New York is set for a 2016 release.

Finally, have we told you how much we enjoy Gary Oldman’s (Sirius Black) comedic genius? While he is often seen in more serious roles, including his new role as acting producer in the horror series The Diabolic, the man has great comedic timing. Last Thanksgiving, Gary teamed up with Jimmy Kimmel for a skit that knocked the American holiday on its ear. He’s teamed up again with the late night host for a modern retelling of the Academy Award winning 1984 film Amadeus. We’ve posted it below for your viewing pleasure.
