Dan Radcliffe Interviewed in 'Extra 7' Magazine

Published in "Extra 7" magazine in March, 2006.

Now that Goblet of Fire finishes its brilliant career in theatres, the actual Harry Potter movie is as rich as the last one. The fourth movie's DVD will air June 14th while fifth movie's filming has just started in London. One of 7 Extra's reporters has had the privilege of visiting the set and talking with Daniel, Emma, Rupert and the extras. People there only talk about one thing: the scene of Harry kissing Cho Chang.

While Goblet of Fire is ending its amazing run in the theatres, the Harry Potter, there's no stopping Harry Potter. The DVD of the fourth film will be released on June 14 here, and filming of the fifth movie, Order of the Phoenix recently began in London. A 7 Extra correspondent was able to visit the set and talk to Daniel, Emma, Ron and others. Everyone talked about one thing: Harry's kiss scene with Cho Chang. (At Hogwarts: Oscar Léger) (pink arrow) A visit to Hogwarts, a meeting with the heros of Harry Potter, exclusives on the upcoming DVD and all the hot gossip from the filming of the Order of the Phoenix. There's tons in these two special and ultra exclusive pages.

In the heart of Hogwarts The Great Hall, Dumbledore's office, the Library, and many other mythical Hogwarts locations have been built in the Leavesden studios in London. Even when you enter the huge hangers and see behind the scenes, once you set foot in the Great Hall, you forget all the cardboard and are immersed in a magical universe. This is where 7 Extra caught up with Daniel Radcliffe in person. The Interview with Daniel When he was supposed to shoot the kiss scene with Cho Chang days ago, Daniel got sick. The filming of the famous kiss had to be postponed one week. It was in Dumbledore's office that we asked Dan a few questions, clearly back in full form.

7 Extra: Now that you have started filming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, what is your favourite memory of the last film?
Dan: What I liked best in Goblet of Fire was the underwater scenes. Ok, aside from the red eyes, cold, etc. it was great fun. If I hadn't been forced to do it, I would never have tried it.

7: You said that there was no down side to Harry Potter.
Dan: Yeah, I know. It may seem odd, but I thought about it a lot, and I still don't see on. As for all everything it's given me and continues to give me, I have no reason to complain. There are, of course, long hours of waiting and fatigue, but it's simply part of the job. Over the last few years, what's really bored me is school and exams! (laughs)

7: And you enjoy 50 interviews a day?
Dan: Yes. Surprised? It can seem boring when you get the schedule, but in the end, it doesn't bother me.

"Contrary to what you might think, I'm not really recognized in the street." (pink words) I'm not stupid 7: Are you left alone when you're walking down the street? Dan: More than you would think. People don’t really recognize me. It (end of page) [note: the article should continue] Circle insert: The Harry-Cho kiss is subject no. 1 on set.
