Short biography: Christopher William Rankin (born November 8, 1983 in New Zealand) is an actor who now resides in the UK. He is most famous for playing Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter films. In addition, he is the co-founder of a theatre company, Painted Horse UK. He has recently confirmed his return to the Harry Potter film franchise after his character's absence in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (film). Order of the Phoenix (film) is scheduled for a 2007 release.
