Short biography: Eleanor Columbus is an American actress best known for her role as Susan Bones in the Harry Potter films. She is the daughter of Chris Columbus, director of the first two Potter films. An American, she was intentionally cast by her father as the role of Susan Bones, a minor one. It seems doubtful she will return for the upcoming fifth film, where she speaks and interacts more noticeably with the rest of the characters, as per Rowling's request for an all British Cast.
