Short biography: Kathryn Hunter is an English actress who has had many roles on British television. She is currently best known for her part in the drama All or Nothing with Timothy Spall (Peter Pettigrew in the Harry Potter films). On February 2nd, 2006, Warner Brothers announced that Kathryn will be playing Harry Potter's Squib neighbor Arabella Figg in the fifth movie of the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, due to be released in 2007. Kathryn is also a revered stage actress and has won an Olivier award. In June 2006, she was on stage at the Soho Theatre in London playing the (male) lead in the play 'The Bee,' directed by Hideko Noda - one of Japan's foremost theatre directors.
