Short biography: Sean Biggerstaff is a Scottish actor born in Glasgow, Scotland to a fireman and a community education worker. Biggerstaff grew up in Maryhill, a small town in Glasgow. There he joined a local drama group and remained there for five years. During that time, he got his first professional role in Macbeth as the son of MacDuff, directed by Micheal Boyd at the Tron Theatre. He was only ten years old at the time. He then later joined the Scottish Youth Theatre for six years. Alan Rickman, impressed by Sean's acting skills - especially in "Macbeth" - chose him for his film The Winter Guest when Biggerstaff was fourteen. Filmography:
