Hannah Stern's Review

The Fifth Harry Potter movie is definitely the worst installment in the series yet. David Yates the director has completely ruined the enjoyment of the book. The actors were not very focused on their lines and how they put them into effect. The behind the scenes work was sloppy and the sets were not very convincing. I was disappointed in the Ministry of Magic. Occlumency was thrown aside like a plaything when it will be very important in the future films. Dudley Dursley was absolutely horrible and Malfoy was not really involved when in the book the Inquisitorial Squad was mentioned more often and more considered. St.Mungo's hospital was completely missing Mr.Weasley's snake bite was not explained and I heard some people whispering “what the heck is going on” so you can see from that that it wasn't focused on that at all. I was wondering about the thestrals- Ron and Hermione wouldn't have any idea what they were without hagrid's care of magical creatures class so how would they know what they were doing! The whole battle in the department of mysteries seemed to be missing something but I couldn't figure out what it was.

so that's it. to finish this off i would only give it a 6 out of 10 the lowest score of any movie I ever reviewed. I am sad to say that i am not looking forward to the half blood prince in 2008

Harry learned quickly not to feel too sorry for the gnomes. He decided just to drop the first one he caught over the hedge, but the gnome, sensing weakness, sank its razor-sharp teeth into Harry's finger and he had a job shaking it off — until — "Wow, Harry — that must've been fifty feet..."
