First off, thanks to everyone who has contributed to this great charity so far. It is going very well and that can only be attributed to the great fan base we have.

Many of you have e-mailed in saying you were unable to donate because you need permission or just don't have the necessary funds. We can fix that -- all you need now is the simple click of your mouse.

By going to this site, SearchKindly.org, and voting for Teddy Bears For Hope you can help out.

All of the organizations listed on the poll will receive a donation, but the size of the donations will be determined by the results of this poll. The greater the percentage of votes that a charity receives, the greater its share.

Let's make sure our charity receives the most amount of votes. The funds it receives from this poll will go towards MuggleCast's overall effort to support Teddy Bears For Hope. The poll closes on Sunday, August 24, so get voting!

Today MuggleCast newsman Micah "I love leaked HBP photos" Tannenbaum celebrates his 26th birthday! To say the show would be very different if it weren't for Micah's hard work would be an understatement. For the last three years, he has tirelessly brought us up to date on the latest news and served as a valuable member to our hosting panel. This goes without mentioning his work "behind the scenes". Despite the fact that we kept him locked in his transcript dungeon for the better part of the show's life thus far, he continues to put up with our antics, and generally makes sure things get done.

From all of us to you, Micah, have a great birthday!

UPDATE: Okay, more bad news. The show will be out TOMORROW. I PROMISE! There's been a series of problems but tomorrow afternoon it will all be better. We're REALLY sorry for the delay!

We know everyone is very excited for Episode 157, and we're really excited for you all to hear it... we had a lot of fun analyzing the HBP push back and talking about the future of MuggleCast!

Unfortunately, the show did not come out Saturday as promised. It will be out sometime today (Sunday), most likely in the evening. I'm still waiting on receiving one of the audio files, and it's a BIG show - 8 hosts, including the return of Jamie and Kevin!

Obviously, there is a lot to discuss with today's announcement from Warner Brothers.

We had already planned to record this week's episode tomorrow (Friday), and that plan is still in effect. This will still be our final weekly episode, and now we have a fun news item to talk about!

As many of you may have heard on the past couple of episodes, we're currently raising funds for Teddy Bears for Hope. As we enter our second week of this effort, things are still going great, and we here at MuggleCast are completely humbled by the generosity you've all shown by donating.

Three years ago today, Ben, Kevin and I released the very first episode of the very first Harry Potter podcast.

Today is a day to recognize the three years of podcasting and to... well, listen to MuggleCast (Episode 156 will be released later today).

I'm extremely proud of the team that has brought MuggleCast to where it is today, and the show would NOT be what it is and what it has been if it wasn't for the hard work and dedication of Ben, Kevin, Jamie, Laura, Eric, Micah, Mikey, Matt, and Elysa. And also the Transcript team, who make the show available to thousands of people who can't listen to us. Thanks, team!

Even though NEXT WEEK (yes we're delaying it again) will be our final weekly episode, I promise there will never be a day that the show officially ends. You, the listener, have been an extremely crucial part of this podcast and we know that you don't want the show to ever come to an end. Plus, we still have a ton of fun doing it :)

We have decided that MuggleCast Episode 156 will be our final weekly show. We hope to have this episode released three years to the day we released Episode 1... back on August 7th, 2005.

This is NOT the much-feared "end" of the show by ANY means. After Episode 156, we will be releasing episodes whenever we feel that we can have QUALITY discussions for 60 - 90 minutes of time.

My guess is that we'll still be releasing at LEAST one new episode per month. I promise we'll strive to produce as many shows as possible because we love producing MuggleCast more than ever.

Anyway, what we need from our loyal listeners right now are your thoughts on the show as a whole. Use the MuggleCast hotline to give us a call and tell us what the show has done for you, your friends, or anyone else. We'll be playing some of your calls during Episode 156. Thanks everyone!
