Sydney Venue!

Update: Specific Room Information! All fans wishing to attend the podcast should access building 1, the main UTS tower from the main entrance on Broadway. Walk through the building towards the left and you will walk in to building 2. The room, CB02.04.13 is located on your left. It's very easy and well sign posted. As you walk in to building 1 there is a security office on the right hand side, and if you are lost or confused, please go there! Once again, that room is CB02.04.13. Maps will be posted soon! --------------- It's official! The Sydney MuggleCast is being held at the University of Technology Sydney on the Broadway campus in Building 2 ( No. 1 Broadway, Ultimo). This is in the main tower building on Broadway. The show will start at 6:30pm!!!!!!!!!!!! Doors will open at 6 for sure. Hopefully this gives everyone time to make it through town on Rush Hour traffic and also get in from home if they were at school for the day. ~~~~~~~ Directions (!): To get there by train you can get off at Central Station and take the eastern exits to Railway Square/George Street. Turn left at Railway Square and walk one block to the UTS Broadway campus which is on the right. If you are driving parking is limited to street meter parking and user pay parking stations. Wilson Parking operates a car park in Quay Street, close to Haymarket. UTS operates a carpark in Building 10 on Thomas and Jones Streets. For a map click here. ~~~~~~~ This is good news for us, both venues are now official and it's only FOUR days until the event takes place! We're really excited to see you there and finally get to meet you lovely Aussie MuggleCast listeners! Additionally there's been a breakthrough on our tee-shirts. We realize it has been inconvenient to pre-order for listeners without credit cards and PayPal already set up, and therefore will in fact be selling shirts ON the day AT the event, available with cash only. There is NO entry fee for these MuggleCast events! Entrance is free and we hope that everyone enjoys themselves. We'll see to it! See you there! If you are driving, enter from the Alexandra Ave entrance. The easiest tram stop is at South Yarra station. Jump off at the station and head down Toorak Rd, turn left into the campus via Claremont St and find the building that looks like Hogwarts and you are there.

See? It's a sad face. Sad faces mean bad news. We won't be having a new episode of MuggleCast this week because of some scheduling conflicts. However, we'll be back with a bang next week to cover everything going on with Jo's visit to the United States! We apologize for the lack of show... we hate skipping weeks, but sometimes we have no choice. Perhaps now is a good time to catch up on some classic MuggleCast!
Melbourne Venue!

It's here! The details for our Melbourne show have arrived! (Sydney listeners, don't fret! We're on a battle of wits between two fantastic venues for the Sydney show and it, too, is guaranteed to happen!) Melbourne's performance will take place inside the highly decorative and appropriate main hall of Melbourne High School! The show will begin at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 21st, 2007. Doors will open approx 20mins before, and the scenery outside is quite pleasant for waiting! The highly decorative hall features a central lectern with a unicorn carved into it, plenty of floor room for seats on the main ground, and a large, sweeping balcony as well! This venue is an amazing find, and the people at HP Events Australia and I were VERY happy to secure it! ~~~~~~~ Directions: Melbourne High School (main entrance) Forrest Hill South Yarra Victoria 3141 Melways reference 2L J3 Entrance to the school is located on the Forrest Hill entrance off Chapel St (between Toorak Road and Alexandra Avenue). Tram number 8 along Toorak Rd from the city. Get off at Chapel St and walk down to the Forrest Hill entrance. Short walk from the South Yarra station. Parking is available on the campus. The sports centre has the best map, found here. ~~~~~~~ Once again, the Sydney venue details will be posted as soon as they are confirmed. And we really CAN'T help ourselves from plugging the MC Down Under Show Tees! These shirts will ONLY go to supporting the show, and are the ONLY commemorative products for this fantastic event! The only way to make SURE you get one is to preorder them by our site via paypal, and we really can't stress how much it helps us out. Tee-Shirts from Down Under!

G'day, everyone!!! Tee shirts for the Australian MC event are now available for preorder! Yes, that's right. And some conditions apply! - Only Australian visitors who will be attending the shows may purchase/preorder the shirts - Each shirt, regardless of size and color (!) is just $20 AUD!- Shirts are available in Lime and Bone! - Sizes are S, M, and L but tend to be a bit BIGGER than normal, so check the measurements on the order form before ordering! - When you pre-order, select your preferred color and size and also which event you will be able to attend, Sydney on 19 Oct or Melbourne on 21 Oct. - Hold on to your PayPal transaction ID! We will need this to verify your order AT the show, where we will be distributing the shirts! - No shirts will be posted and sent through mail etc, i.e. the only way to get one is to come to an event or know someone who does! - Pre-ordering is essential! We cannot guarantee you will get one otherwise and there are NO plans to sell on site or afterwards! ...will be out a bit late this week. You can expect it either tomorrow or Tuesday. Unfortunately, Andrew got in from London pretty late tonight, so I think I speak for everyone when I say we'd rather him get some much-needed rest before he slaves away over audio editing!
Never fear though, #115 is worth the wait - Kevin, Micah, Eric and I held an all-voicemail show in which we dissected wandless magic, the resurrection stone, the magic behind sorting, and much, much more!
