This week's Quibble of the Week comes to us from LumosNight3, and it's straight out of our Alohomora! section. It features a close examination at everybody's favorite wizarding family - the Weasleys. LumosNight3 examines whether or not all of the Weasley members truly belonged in Gryffindor, as they each seem to have traits that would allow them to fit perfeclty into the other houses of Hogwarts:

As we see frequently in the Harry Potter series, many characters seem to possess attributes that could have landed them in another House altogether, and in some instances, the argument in favor of a different House is very strong (Hermione, Neville, Harry, the list goes on and on)...If we look at the Weasleys and where they're sorted, which is entirely into Gryffindor House, and compare it to all that we now know about the Houses, can we really honestly say that all of them would have ended up in Gryffindor?

Orlando Attractions took a plane tour over the rumored Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion area, what used to be Jaws and Amity Islands at Universal Studios in Orlando. Now you can see the footage from the flight and get excited for the possibilities that are coming to Orlando.

While we have been on top of these rumors for some time, we must still enforce the rule that these are just rumors at this point. But the evidence is clear from this footage that something major is replacing the Jaws and Amity attraction area, and we are very sure it's the Harry Potter expansion.

We reported that we believe the Hogwarts Express will take visitors from the new expansion area to Hogsmeade and back again. However, new information is that there is even discussion that some special effects involving a tunnel will keep guests entertained on their journey between the two areas.

While we believe the expansion will include Diagon Alley, a Gringotts Bank Cart ride, and possibly Platform 9 3/4, we wonder what you would like to see in the expansion of the Wizarding World? Leave us your comments below.

In a new interview with OffBroadway, the stars of the hit comedy-improv show Potted Potter, share their personal stories with how the show developed and whether or not J.K. Rowling has ever seen the show.

Dan Clarkson and Jeff Turner bring their Olivier Award nominated rollicking parody to New York City's Off-Broadway stage for American audiences to enjoy. The show takes the challenge of condensing, or 'potting,' the seven book series of Harry Potter into seventy hilarious minutes, which even includes a real-life game of Quidditch with audience members.

From the interview:

Dan, you play a character who doesn't have a great deal of knowledge of the Potter series, but I assume that's not true in real life.

DC - No, I'm a huge fan. I'm a, I was going to say 100% closet geek, but I'm not, I'm completely open about it. I queued up to get the fifth book outside the bookstore dressed as a wizard, I cannot wait to go to Harry Potter World so I can go and get my wand measured and find out if I need a dragon wand. I mean I was one of the people when Pottermore was started and you know they were letting a few people in, I stayed up until like 3 in the morning so I could get the password to get on and find out if I was in Hufflepuff House.

JT - When we started all this back in 2005, when Dan first brought the idea of doing the job to me, I hadn't read any of the books back then. I wasn't a fan.

Have you had any reaction or communication from JK Rowling?

JT - Some of her team have seen the show and very much seem to enjoy it. There's a story when we were at the Edinburgh Festival in 2006, playing a sixty-seater theater, we sold out quite early on. After one show, a box office girl, she could only have been about 18, 19, came over looking quite sheepish and her manager said, 'Tell them what you've done' and it turns out that she may have turned JK Rowling away because we were sold out. We don't how true that is, but when we heard, we were quite distraught, especially Dan. He just wanted his book signed really. So now every single show we do there's always a seat that isn't sold so that if she EVER wants to turn up, she can.

You can read the rest of the interview right here.

If you are going to be in the New York City area, be sure to get your tickets now by visiting Telecharge.com or by calling 212-239-6200.

Potted Potter is now playing for a limited engagement at the Little Shubert Theatre, 4222 West 42nd Street, Manhattan, New York.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will cast a spell among Harry Potter fans of all ages this fall with the Harry Potter for Kinect videogame exclusively on Kinect™ for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

Based on all eight Harry Potter films, Harry Potter for Kinect allows players to join Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger as they embark on an unforgettable journey through Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and beyond. With Kinect’s scanning technology, for the first time ever in a Harry Potter game, players will be able to scan in their own face to create a unique witch or wizard to journey through the adventures of the film.

In addition, Kinect’s hands-free and voice recognition capabilities allow gamers to cast spells using physical maneuvers and by calling out spell names, offering an extraordinary, immersive Harry Potter experience.

“Harry Potter for Kinect will engage Harry Potter fans old and new by bringing them into the wizarding world as truly active participants,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production and Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “Kids and parents will enjoy recreating their favorite Harry Potter adventures, from flying a broomstick in a Quidditch match, to battling pixies and duelling other wizards.”

Harry Potter for Kinect gives players the opportunity to experience some of the films’ most memorable moments, both as the relevant characters or as their own avatars, including visiting Ollivanders, choosing a house at Hogwarts, and confronting He Who Must Not Be Named in a climactic final battle. Players who master their lessons can also take on their opponents in competitive mini-games, or join forces with family and friends in co-op gameplay.

We have been waiting for what seems like an eternity for Emma Watson's film The Perks of Being A Wallflower to be released in theaters. Today, we can officially announce the date has been set by Summit Entertainment for September 14, 2012.

MTV has officially reported the story that the film will be a limited release. But we are still excited to see this film, especially after all the controversy surrounding the MPAA's rating earlier this year.

The film is adapted from Stephen Chbosky's coming-of-age tale, which follows Charlie (Logan Lerman) as he navigates the trials of high school with the help of his new upperclassmen friends, Sam (Emma) and Patrick (Ezra Miller). They bring Charlie out of his shell and make him feel like he's part of something bigger than himself. But as he begins to fall for Sam, things get complicated—such is the life of a teenager.

Emma herself is excited as she stated, "I feel incredible about it. I feel like I've been waiting for 'Perks.' I was waiting for this story, for this script, for this moment, for these people to do it with me. I'm so glad I didn't do anything that I didn't care about."

We also reported that Emma herself, along with her co-stars Ezra and Logan, will be at the MTV Movie Awards to premiere the first official trailer for the movie on June 3rd.

Are you excited to see this film? Let us know in the comments below.

Our next Fan Art submission of the week comes from Pearson, and it's a very interesting artistic rendering of Lord Voldemort. You can see the full size image right here!

Noah's Notes: This was expertly drawn using only ink. Notice how Voldemort's face seems to be sinking in places and otherwise fading into the black background. Appropriately, the piece is drawn distorted and dark to capture Voldy's broken personality. Great work Pearson!

If you are interested in creating your own fan art for others to view and perhaps even get highlighted here on the MuggleNet Home Page, then submit your art work to MuggleNet Fan Art's email at fanart@staff.mugglenet.com.
