Please read the following before submitting news to us. We will not post any of the items mentioned below:

Birthdays of minor characters
The only birthday announcements we post are those of major cast, characters mentioned on JKR.com, and MuggleNet staff.

Theories
We love to hear them, but there are more appropriate places on the site to submit them. Try the forums or editorials section.

Book mistakes
Information on submitting book mistakes can be found here.

Miscellaneous submissions
Please ensure that what you are submitting is actual news and that it cannot be submitted in a more appropriate location on the site (e.g., the feedback form).

News which has already been posted
Where possible, please check if the news you are submitting has been posted previously. This saves us a lot of time.
